Click to report rating    7/25/12   2     3     2     2   Had free, two week care from Broward Humane Society for my cat. First vet visit, Dr. was about 20 years old-gave wrong medicine. Second visit, a vet about 28 saw my cat, gave different medicine, very nice, but on follow up visit, denied he had breathing trouble...didn't detect what I was concerned about and said cat was fine. Still worried, took cat to another vet clinic where they agreed cat had a serious breathing issue and recommended heart specialist. Bottom line...O.K. for shots, maybe, but diagnostic issues questionable. Pushed hard for me to buy expensive Revolution, too, for an indoor cat. They made me feel bad that I wouldn't get it. Do not appreciate that. RID: 36062
Click to report rating    2/24/12   1     4     1     1   My dog was throwning up and just laying on the floor all day I went crazy looking for a hospital to get her a check up. I told them on the phone what was wrong and they told me that it sounded like parvo. when I arrived there I had to pay them 85.00 for a parvo test which only took them 2 seconds to come back and tell me that she was really sick and she was going to die to put her to sleep and make her stop suffering if I did not have $2000.00 to leave my puppy there and get treated. I could not believe it. They gave me a cold medicine to give her which made me kind of confused I started to do research. I kept my dog hydrated by giving her mint and chamomile tea and and plain pedialyte found a vet which I payed $150.0 to do the same $2000.00 dollar treatment and in two days she was up and running around and now she is better than ever. DO NOT LOSE HOPE ON YOUR PUPPY! VET WAS A RIPOFF! RID: 32464
