Terrible experience at THE ANIMAL HEALTH SERVICE. Staff were Unprofessional,rude,uncaring, and my pet did not receive the proper attention or care. I booked an appointment a week in advance for my sick dog. On the day of the visit (30°C outside, my only day off), I arrived to find they had given the slot to someone else and claimed they didn’t have my phone number to notify me. All I got was a “sorry.” Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone who values their pet’s health and well-being.

Dr. Toles is a very experienced vet and knows what she's doing. She is an expert in diagnostic tests, and her findings are usually on par. She knows exactly what to do and when specialists are needed. She cares about your opinion and is very pleasant. The staff is very caring and never had a bad experience.

Animal Health Services is one of the best clinics I've been to. Dr. Toles knows exactly what tests that need to be done. The staff is caring and know what they are doing. Very little wait time as well. Couldnt be happier with their expertise and knowldge.

Not recommended. Go anywhere but there. I always felt rushed when I was there. Dr. Toles misdiagnosed my dog multiple times (She misdiagnosed my dog and said he had arthritis, when he really had bone cancer. We found out later when it was too late by another vet), and according to other vets and specialists in the area her x-ray equipment (and skills) are very poor quality and the x-rays themselves are blurry (upon showing them my dog's x-rays for a second opinion, which was usually always the correct opinion). She was also not keen on explaining things, and frequently pushed the Hills Science Diet foods on me, despite me saying I was not interested. She is not personable and lacks people skills, and she rushes you out the door.

First and foremost, I have always found the staff at AHS to be polite and professional during each one of my visits. However, I am extremely disappointed in the overall experience with AHS. I am constantly made to wait past my appointment time even when I am the only client in the building. Re-checks used to be free and now I am being charged fifty bucks for the same service. I am charged to get a prescription to take to the pharmacy and the amount she charges practically forces me to get my animals' medications from the clinic. It seems like a money-grab rather than actual healthcare for my animals. As much as I love the staff, if the clinic continues to head in this direction I will have to find another vet after many dedicated years to AHS.

Like many in the city it is a Overpriced clinic! The prices are out of this world. find another vet that's more reasonable

AHS has cared for our animals for over ten years. Always honest, good advice and thorough. I don't find this clinic expensive, but they are extremely caring.
