The absolute best vet clinic I have ever been to. Dr. Lotey is an excellent vet, kind and very good with the animals. Also he is very knowledgable about animal diseases. Rates are fantastic.

My husband & I can't say enough nice things about Dr. Lotey & his precious staff. We trust them and have utmost faith in their care. We've been treating our little Pug, Lola, for several months through multiple health issues. It's frustrating, sad, and scary- but they don't waver! Dr. Lotey even consulted with multiple colleagues during Lola's illness as she was a puzzle for everyone involved. We know they are pouring love & knowledge into our girl and working every angle possible to get her well again. Calls & emails are answered promptly and Dr. Lotey & staff even call periodically to check on us. Lola is high strung Pug and I'm a high strung pug mama and they totally take it all in stride, working to stay positive & keep us calm. Lola is now controlled for her condition, doing well, but is still checked up on periodically by Derry Heights to make sure she continues to thrive. We LOVE them. Thank you!!

Dr. Lotey is the best. I have been to many vets until we went to him (recommended to me by a rescue organization) and he has been our vet ever since. It has been about 5 years now and I couldn't be any happier to have him care for our pets. We travel about an hour from Toronto to his clinic. I trust him to provide me with good advice. He helped us along the way during our pets last year of life. He never did unnecessary tests. I can tell he loves animals and is a very compassionate person. He has never gotten it wrong with my pets.

I have been taking my 3 fur kids to Dr. Lotey for the past few years. It's time to leave a review. Just picked up my pets food and always greeted with a smile, so here are my thoughts. I have no complaints, the staff is always friendly and happy to answer my millions of questions and they get us seen in a reasonable amount of time. I have seen how busy they get but the animals get the best care because you can tell the staff are passionate. They have great hours, Dr. Lotey rarely takes a break or holiday and the prices are very fair, no surprises. I rated this place high because my animals get what I need them to get, a vet that I can trust and my pockets are happy too. Keep it up guys:) Hope you got our Christmas card. I wish you treated exotics too!

I took my cat to Derry Heights to be put down. My vet is out of town and I thought I would spare her the stress of the trip. BIG mistake. It took 2 hours from start to finish to have her put to sleep. A total of 5 needles, 2 under the skin, 1 directly in the heart, 1 in the leg and finally 1 in her neck. Still took forever for her to pass. Huge amounts of vomit after the first 2 needles, that I, not staff, cleaned up as best as I could. Every other pet I have had euthanised has had a quick, peaceful death. Truly a horrible experience. It is hard enough to lose a pet and the method used was terrible. I have a background in animal sciences and I was still traumatized by what happened.

I attended this clinic with my dog on the advice of my neighbor. She has been taking her dog and cat here since moving to Milton. She has had nothing but good things to say about Dr Loti and his staff. My experience has been just as good, my dog doesn't even get anxious like he use to at my prevous Vet clinic in Toronto. I highly recommend Dr Loti for your precious pets care. 5/5

I had to put my sweet kitty down and I so appreciate the way Dr. Lotey handled the situation. He put her under and I said goodbye to her and left. She knew I was there at the crucial time, but I did not have to see her pass. Dr. Lotey is the best Vet I have ever had. Thanks for your caring treatment of me and her.

Just visited Dr. Lotey today with my sick dog Bailey and I have to say I've seen a few vets in my time and he was FABULOUS! He was attentive, thorough, detailed and most of all caring. I trust his opinion and will be returning to him whenever the need comes. His staff were very friendly, and helpful with any questions I had which made the whole process run smoothly.

Derry heights is fantastic. They save the life of my dog who had pancreatitis. The entire staff at the clinic are incredible and went completely out of there way to help. Thank you all very much!!

I own an exotic cat,like every other animal owner,she's my little girl and decided to take her to this clinic.I never owned a cat before so I went in with my full trust thinking Dr. Lotey is a professional and he will help us along the way with our cat problems or challenges.Oh man!!I was totally wrong about that.One of his staff member cut my cat's nails close to the quick two times,her couple of nails were bleeding.I was very upset,upon confronting him about it,first he denied they cut her nails than knowingly he didn't tell me who did it and said he will take care of it.He was never able to figure out what's the issue and made me pay hundreds of dollars all the time,gave meds for no reason,kept doing random test which were not even required.He just started his practice while ago,was a truck driver before,like seriously.He just guess things and say he knows.I wish I could write more,but less space.All I am going to say if your pet is your child please don't take your pet to him.

I needed to take my dog for a check up and when he threw up after eating garbage I thought it was best to bring him in then to make sure he was ok. THe receptionist didnt appear to know what she was doing, papers all over the place and they write the symptoms on the back of a piece of paper. Manjit did bring me in 10 minutes early however which I appreciated. He checked my dog out and didnt say a word about what he was doing or what he had found (he took his temperature and didnt even say what it was - then rinsed his hands and the thermometer with WATER) before completing the exam. When he asked the vet assistant to lie the dog down - She grabbed his feet and FLIPPED him, causing him to land on the table very hard. Then Manjit said that option 1 was to keep him in on an IV, oral medication, xrays and bloodwork. Option 2 was oral medication and injections. The dog only threw up once and was jumping around the vets office the whole time. Absolute RIP OFF and very UNPROFESSIONAL

This clinic is absolutely outstanding! Dr.Lotey and his staff are amazing. I have owned pets for many years and would not think to bring them anywhere else for veterinary care.

We had taken our 10 old dog which was vomiting badly at the time when these guys were almost at the closing time. Not only they treated our dog, they kept her here for a few days. Dr. Lotey and his staff did all the hard work and saved her life. Now she is back to normal playful self. We were kept updated regarding her condition and they followed up even after she was sent home. Our whole family is really thankful to Dr. Lotey and his staff for this. All the best, keep up the good work. Highly recommended.

If you are not sure where to take your pet or if you are not happy with your current veterinarian, I encourage you to try Dr. Lotey at Derry Heights Animal Hospital in Milton. I have been going there for a few years now and highly recommend it.
Dr. Lotey is a very nice man. He is dedicated to his work and treats each animal like it is his own, whether it is a simple procedure or a complicated operation. He welcomes questions and explains procedures . Reasonable prices.
This clinic is also good because specialized operations/ procedure can be done on site. Dr.Lotey calls in a vet specializing in the field your pet requires.
The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and efficient . The clinic is exceedingly clean. They will happily take you on a tour so you can see everything . They have wonderful volunteers who come in to walk the animals and keep them company, which is important if it is your pet that is there.
And supervising everything is a lovely resident cat .

Dr. Lotey and his staff team are amazing. I boarded my dog at their location for one week and he was very well taken care of. Dr. Lotey is always available when you have any questions as he genuinely has a love for animals. I would definitely recommend Derry Heights Animal Clinic if you are looking for a honest and caring Vet. Prices are also very reasonable definitely cheaper then my previous Vet.

The staff are absolutely amazing and the part I love the most is anytime we call in a panic that our pooch has gotten into her latest bit of trouble they are always willing to see her within minutes. They truly care about your animal as much as you do and you certainly get great value for your money.

Derry Heights Animal Hospital are very supportive of canine rescue. We bring in many dogs with a variety of health needs and we are always treated so special! The dogs in our care are well provided for and we know without Dr Lotey and staff we would not be able to do what we do. THANK YOU!!

I found the experience with Derry Heights very good. My cat had an ongoing issue and after seeing Dr. Lotey he recommended a different method of treatment that cut the medication costs by 20% and the cat seems to react better to the new treatment.

Great experience here. I've been to 5 different over the years and most of them won't even allow me to be present for something as simple as a nail trim, and take my dog out of the room into the back of their hospital to give them their vaccines. Usually I have to wait forever for the appointment and then im rushed out and not even sure what they did to my pet till i get the bill and big surprises. Here he let me come see the entire hospital, my dog was very comfortable and allowed to check out the environment, I didn't have to wait for my appointment, the took the time to go through all of my questions, and offered extra knowledge, and actually told me what he was going to do, and the associated costs, before actually doing them and gave me options! And it wasn't as expensive as my other vet visits have been in the past. The food is cheaper too i found! And they even called the day after to check on my pup and sent me an email with extra information. It was great. Definate recommend.

DO NOT GO HERE!! i have never had such a bad experience in my life at a vet. my dog wasnt well, it was sunday and my vet wasnt open. i suspected a uti, as did the vet and instead of collecting a urine sample by having me get her to pee in a cup they shoved a catheter in her. WITHOUT TELLING ME OR ASKING ME causing extreme pain and discomfort for my dog. theY DID NOT inform me before doing this. the noises she made haunt me still. i didnt even know it was my dog making the agonizing painful cries. i have never heard her made such a noise, extremely unprofessional and dirty. DO NOT take your pet here!
