I have been using this clinic for my pets (dogs and cats) since I moved to Campbell River in 2002. Have always been happy with the caring support they provide. This past year Dr Byron Hamlund took over the practice and he is fabulous, gentle and knowledgable. The clinic has undergone a facelift and looks very professional and clean. They have a dedicated cat examination room which is great for my skittish kitty. Highly recommended.

Horrified! Staff very sweet, Vet D.M. Gjertsen ,D.V.M. horrifying! Took my dog to view soft lump under jawline.He stood with arms folded watching a handicapped person attempt to lift my pet on examining table - no help. Without even examining the dog he announced that an operation is needed! His attitude was officious and obnoxious and it was clear this Vet was in it for money only. Took my dog to another vet who said "NO operation whatsoever! No infected bite found - looks like a simple allergy - suggestedover the counter benedryl. Soft Lump disappeared within 24 hours!BE CAREFUL PET OWNERS especially with this particular Vet

What a wonderful clinic and staff. I have a rescue dog that they have been seeing since before I got her. They are gentle and loving and she gets so excited when we get there. The entire staff makes a point of coming to say hi to her.
