Click to report rating    3/24/17   1     2     3     2   I had been taking my dog to this vet clinic for years. She became quite ill and the tests they took couldn't determine what was wrong with her. Instead of advising other tests or referring us to someone who could do these test, they just seem to ignore it. She was so ill we had Vets to Go come into our home and put her to sleep a week after my initial visit to Copperfield Vet. We also took our cat there as she had an infection in one of her anal glands. Obvious to me but the doctor had no answer for it. We took her to CARE hospital after extensive surgery and $900 later with a long recovery, she was fine. I really liked these vets and I don't know what happened. Needless to say, we were devastated by the passing of our beloved dog( This all occurred in 2015)We now have a new rescue pup from AARCS and also a new vet. Sad. RID: 63134
Click to report rating    7/11/16   1     3     2     2   I tried to get information on my dogs surgery and needed to go through 2 front staff and then ended up having to speak to the vet about it. They didn't know the procedures for a simple surgery and were rude when I asked questions like "does she need to fast beforehand"? Or "what time do we need to be there?" They also lost my file and left me on the phone waiting for 15 minutes while they looked for it and I had to call back to tell them I was still on the phone. Finally after the vet had given me wrong information and then changed his mind on blood work that my pet was to have before surgery, I went home to get her for bloodwork he called me and told me "I'm sorry we're not doing the surgery for you, we need to let you both go." Yes they kicked my dog and I out of the vet because I told them "I feel very uncomfortable because everyone is giving me different information. When I asked to speak to the manager who kicked us out I wasn't allowed He doesn't speak to customers. RID: 61077
Click to report rating    9/21/13   1     2     3     1   My dog slipped out of the fence and was picked up in the park by a nice couple who brought her to the clinic, they contacted us via her ear tattoo and charged us $20.00 for the phone call. (this clinic is behind our house) When we retrieved our dog, we were inundated with upsell type questions (shots, ETC.)When our beloved 13 year old dog required $1,100.00 worth of dental and other work....guess who was the last place on our mind!! The receptionist was very nice. RID: 47110
8/28/13   1     2     1     1   I originally took my cat in to this vet to get his foot examined after an injury. The only reason I picked them was because they are located in my neighbourhood, and my cat's actual vet is located across the city. The vet did x-rays (which is fine) and then put him on a very aggressive medication - which ended up causing my cat to have kidney failure and requiring a trip to the emergency animal hospital. My cat made it out ok and ended up needing IV fluids to live. I spoke with my regular vet who was shocked to find out that my cat ended up on this medication - because of the risk of kidney failure. I avoided this vet like the plague and went in last week to get a bag of food (again because they're close) - well I was told if kitty won't eat it - to return it and there would be no problem. Well of course they wouldn't take it back - the $30 the bag cost me you could give back being as your awful vet cost me $2200. Front desk staff also awful and could learn some customer service RID: 46591
Click to report rating    8/20/12   5     5     5     5   I have been using this vet clinic for the last 2 years and have them to thank for my cat still living. He has had kidney issues for the last 2 years and it is thanks to their monitoring and medication suggestions that he is still alive. They are a fantastic vet clinic RID: 36693
