Click to report rating    4/1/18   1     2     2     1   Do not listen to owners...lack of communication between different vets, all adds up to extremely poor care. One of the radiologist is great, but otherwise STAY AWAY!!! RID: 65866
Click to report rating    1/5/15   1     1     1     1   This is the WORST place I have ever been too! The staff are "secretive" and do not disclose anything, nor do they want you near them when conducting the tests. The specialists- ha! They scare you into believing your pet is dying of a chronic disease. And then the test results come back completely negative, and they forbid you from ever coming back because they screwed up. How sad is that?! This is not a place I would recommend at all. RID: 55301
Click to report rating    12/24/14   1     3     3     1   Took my 18 month old pup there and they told me it would be ~10k to diagnose what she had, in the state I was in I would've probably said yes to anything. After talking to a friend she said to pull her out of there as this place would make me broke, my dog was there for ~12 hours which cost ~2k. I had her discharged and taken to another hospital where the vet sat me down explained everything and was honest about the chances of my dog recovering from her condition, no fear mongering as the Care Centre practiced with me and I was grateful for that. Click to report rating    11/22/14   5     5     5     5   My dog was referred to specialists at the CARE centre due to chronic bronchitis and lumps. The Drs have been amazing with him and all of the support staff have been great. He has had numerous stays in the hospital over the past year and a half and major surgery. He still gets excited when we go for check ups and is excited to see the staff. It is a bit costlier than a reg vet clinic but have had top treatment from top specialists. Appointments have been on time and have always had amazing support for my dog and myself when he has had procedures and have been happy with the communication and support from staff when he has stayed in the hospital. While it has been stressful coping with my little guys illness, the experience at this centre has made a very difficult situation much easier. RID: 54722

Click to report rating    4/22/14   2     2     3     3   I was booked for an oncology consult for surgery, a second opinion for from a cardio to ensure my dogs heart fit for surgery. After what I thought was a good first consult, miscommunications started happening. I was apprehensive to continue (as I have had trust issues in the past with vets that resulted in an overdose of my pet at another clinic). Called assistance manager to hopefully sort out the communications issues. No luck, she flat out said to me she spoke with the doctor and I was not given the info I claim I was. That was enough for me, So I asked the assistant manager to cancel all my future appointments. Called the manager at Western, explained to her what my dog needed. She said she would personally make sure she was the communication buffer between all right specialists to ensure a successful consult. Viola spending almost $7000 at Western not CARE. Owners of CARE take notice you should be reaching out to unsatisfied clients, there is enough of them on these review sites! RID: 51167

Click to report rating    12/13/13   4     5     3     2   Took good care of my dog when he was in, staff were very compassionate and caring. The facility was lovely but it did seem remarkably expensive, and that is coming from someone who has payed a lot of vet bills! RID: 48760
8/4/13   1     1     1     1   I have a 3 year old dog who had been at my vet for 11 days.We had done all the tests we could have possibly done for her and the only result we could come up with was pancreatitis.Radiographs and blood showed nothing so the next step was an ultrasound to get a better look at her organs. My clinic cannot do that so we just needed to have that done and we could look at the results ourselves. We first called to get a quote and then proceeded with a referral and rushed her in because she was extremely unstable. When we got there we were made to wait for 2 1/2 hours, were brought in for a consult which we were told was not necessary and then presented with a $2700+ quote for two days and was told everything I already knew. She was then brought back to us soaking wet and were told by the nurse that she had no idea why she was wet, it was because she was drooling.I work for the clinic I have her at and have never treated anyone in such a way. They misquoted us and treated us with disrespect. RID: 46070
