I am a new pet owner. I found the vet whom we saw to be professional. However, the first time I went we saw that many other people and their pets were waiting to see the vet. Whenever I would call this vet's office for any reason I was automatically put on hold. I felt like they were understaffed and that me and my pet just weren't important. One Sat. morning I realized that my kitten wasn't doing well. I asked the receptionist if I could be squeezed in. She refused and told me that they already had "too many emergencies that day." I ended up having to take my pet to the regional emergency vet clinic which cost me a lot of travel time and money. In the end my cat had to stay the night. If they had seen her earlier perhaps they could have saved me time and money. I was very unhappy and I switched vets. I am very happy with the new vet I now go to.
