I was on holidays and my parents took my dog to dr Mandy Maclean and she racked up 800 bill with then without telling them anything was wrong . I had called twice to get information and I was told I had to come in and talk to the vet ( which had actually answered the phone and pretended to be someone else in the third person) when I when in it was her way or no other options available and very rude then charged me 50 to talk to her for 20 minutes because she felt I needed to hear the information when we just we just paid her 800 two days prior . This place is a money grab and is not looking for the best interest of your animal . They just want to take your money ... I would never recommend this place to anyone .

Dr. Mandy gives back to the animal world by volunteering her time in a local rescue's vet clinic free of charge. She has been lovely with all 6 of our dogs. Each and every time I call the staff are friendly and can fit me in within a matter of an hour of me calling. Dr. Mandy makes ample time to discuss the results of whatever procedure you have done. Dr. Mandy has called me multiple times after my dogs have ended up at Fish Creek in an emergency situation just to check on how they are. I do find their interior needs a refresh but that is absolutely minor. I am happy that she is a local business and has not been overtaken by the VCA empire.

We had gone to this vet for over four years. But after misdiagnosing two of our dogs, costing us thousands of dollars, and performing unnecessary surgeries, we will not be back.
We put our trust into these people, assuming they knew best, but we were very disappointed.
Needless to say, we will be finding a new vet for our dogs.
