A nightmare - revolving door of horrendous vets most fresh out of school that lie of credentials. Beware of Liesl Schmidt she deliberately killed my sweet, treatable dog. This whiny, sniveling, lying demon moved to St. Matthews University/Cayman Islands to find God & teach likely because she’s a liability to any vet. Space cadet, Amy Cordner slithered off to Burlington,VT Specialty can’t diagnose to save her life, falsified medical records. Amy Zalcman, Richard Snell AWOL. Andrew Kyles butcher pushes unnecessary/unauthorized surgery, botches it charges $$$$.They dismiss each other’s findings to your face & lie through their teeth about negligence. All about $, push unnecessary tests/procedures. They are literally practicing on pets, with big legal teams in tow to cover negligence. After name change to Blue Pearl LLC & Mars/Banfield sellout, it’s a worse torture chamber for animals. File a State Board complaint if you suspect negligence.

It's the Waldorf Astoria of vet hospitals, but it's the same price as the Animal Medical Center! I have multiple pets, mostly seniors, so I've spent a lot of time at Blue Pearl and I have to say they are WONDERFUL. I will never go to another emergency vet because everyone else is so far below these guys. The staff and vets have all treated us like family. Dr. Britton and the oncology staff are especially amazing!

Diagnosed fiance's cat with cancer. AFTER AMPUTATION, THEY FOUND OUT SHE WAS MISDIAGNOSED.

Ran tests prior, did ct scans, followed the advice of NYC Veterinary Specialists/ Blue Pearl Nyc Dr. Jennifer Huck and Dr. Joshua Lachowicz DVM.
When the histopathoIogy report was done on her leg afterwards it was found out that the mass was in fact BENIGN. CAT'S LEG WAS AMPUTATED UNNECESSARILY.
The diagnosis and advice which was given, combined with the actions of the doctors at Blue Pearl Veterinary Partners resulted in an UNNECESSARY limb amputation.

NYC Veterinary Specialists only treat pets who need specialized care (via veterinary referral), including emergencies - 24hours/day - 365 days/year. This means they treat pets whose regular vets do not have either the time, expertise, and/or facilities to proceed with a treatment plan. The NYV Veterinary Specialists vets, vet techs, and admin staff are extremely skilled, caring, & wonderful professionals. I hope your pet never needs to these exceptional services but if he or she does, there is no better place.

If your pet needs care- this is the place for them. Veterinarians there know what they are doing and you can tell they truly care.Place is immaculate and their staff is really great. Everything about this place is professional and perfect I could say. I highly recommend them and it is because of them my pet is living healthy and happy!

My dog and I were out for a walk - on the sidewalk - and he was on leash - when a drunk driver swerved and hit him. It was a nightmarishly long ride to the hospital but the techs and the doctor at NYC Vet Specialists were amazing. I put a 5 for monetary value because there is no price for the love I have for my little dog and his health. They were wonderful and put up with me calling several times over night to check on him... and never once rushed me out or acted like I was asking too many questions. I felt that he was in very good hands there, and I never feel like that! My little guy is at home recovering with me now thank goodness... and I really thank the staff at this hospital. We saw Dr. Angliss while there; Tiffany was the vet tech at reception who helped us with prescriptions, etc; and Carly was the overnight nurse who gave me updates; I believe it was Linda who released him to me and explained his med schedule, etc, and gave him a kiss. Wonderful people... thank you.
