Multiple times they failed to take my cat’s blood pressure despite the fact that she is on blood pressure meds and despite my request. Multiple times they filled prescriptions with wrong dosages, incorrect needles and tablets instead of liquids. Front desk staff will argue with you when you tell them something is not correct as opposed to checking with your vet.
With our terminally ill cat having just weeks left, Dr. Hack started a new medication that needed to be monitored closely however the instructions on the bottle stated 7 times more than the correct dosage (3 times daily vs 3 times weekly). When I discovered this was an error and expressed my concern, they refused to treat her. AVMA ethics require a vet to continue to provide care during the transition of care to another vet if the patient has an ongoing medical condition however Dr. Hack and Boca Veterinary Clinic “elected to end all services effective immediately”.

The front desk staff & most all Vet tech are super nice, very caring and professional with the exception of a woman in the back who is in charge of billing. She charges without telling you ahead of time or add things done to your pets without telling you first. Dr. Hack has tremendous knowledge and compassion for pets but the business aspect of the clinic needs improvements. The other vet Dr. Reum is also very nice, knowledgeable, compassionate and very honest about what treatments are actually necessary for your pets what are recommended and which ones optional. The day care is great and the woman that runs it truly loves the dogs the daycare is highly recommended although it is kind of small space. Overall it's a good clinic because you can trust the staff with your pets, they all truly dedicated to treat your pets well, now if they could only fix the billing issues the rudeness & arrogant attitude of the woman making the money for Dr. Hack, this clinic could one of the best vet

Dr. Hack is a very caring and knowledgeable vet who NEVER pushes unnecessary treatment. If she recommends some form of treatment, it is because she believes it to be the best option. I have been with Dr. Hack since she was at Calusa. I have several dogs, mostly Pekes, and she has been with me through several serious incidents. The only reason I rated punctuality less than 5 is because if you need to talk, she will make time to listen. And if there is an emergency, that emergency takes precedence over everything else.

This is a beautiful new state of the art facility. It is immaculate and the assistants have been gentle in handling my pet on numerous occasions. However, this facility appears to suddenly be in financial crisis and integrity in patient care is now taking second place to less than honest information being provided to attempt to sell potentially unecessary painful inpatient procedures for revenue generation. I do not intend to use this clinic again and can't currently recommend dr hack.

By far the most knowledgeable vet I have ever been too. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. They take pride in their work and show true compassion for you and your pets. I highly reccommend this animal hospital!!!
