Click to report rating    3/5/18   5     5     5     5   Dean Park are amazing and the best vets ever. Full stop..... Okay, you want more words than that? Dr.McTaggart is a phenomenal animal dentist and with no exaggeration saved the life of our rabbit with a misaligned jaw. Rabbit work is difficult since they hide their issues and they don't take going under well. Dean Park has the training (we know that Dr.McTaggart frequently goes for specialized training) and experience to do this and they are the only vets we trust to put our rabbits under. The caring and compassion by all staff are outstanding. Dr. Christina does our regular vet work and she has taken the time to really get to know us and our pets. We've had several pet tragedies outside of the normal realm (bizarre and rare illnesses) and they also take good care of their humans in grief. As long as we are within driving distance this is our vet clinic... we spent three years driving from Victoria to Dean Park to prove it. RID: 65704
Click to report rating    11/25/17   5     5     5     5   My cat was killed in the highway and a vet from this facility was kind enough to pick her up and scan her chip. I am so sad that my beautiful wild cat has died but I am really grateful that someone cared enough to let me know. Thank you a thousand times.I rate this as excellent.Sharon RID: 65116
Click to report rating    2/18/16   5     5     5     5   Dr. Sue McTaggart is amazing at what she does. We are lucky to have her on the Island. Do not hesitate to bring your loved one in to them. I am so glad I did. I am so pleased with the entire experience. Do 5 minutes of research on her and you will see how great of hands you are in, or take my word for it, either way you will be happy with your decision to see Dr. Sue. RID: 59818
Click to report rating    2/6/15   5     5     5     5   I've been taking my dog to Dr McTaggart for 5 years now. The Dr caught a baby tooth that wasn't falling out - the adult tooth was coming in beside it! She removed it, saving my little guy from future pain, and myself from what would have been some big vet bills later on. I was surprised at how alert and happy he was coming home the same day as his extraction - and - he was excited to go back to the clinic at his recheck, which is so amazing! She's caught a few other issues since then as well - I love that she focuses on preventive medicine to keep my pet healthy, and she prefers natural remedies over medication wherever possible. Also, Dr Christina and the entire staff are so friendly and very caring, and the new facilities are great! Dean Park Hospital will be my clinic for all my future pets! RID: 55789
Click to report rating    1/7/15   5     5     5     5   Have always had great care for my bunnies from both Dr. McTaggart and Dr. Klimaschka, but especially one day when, after a morning appointment to discuss my elderly bunny's worsening issues, I came home later that evening to find her in distress. I had been reminded that morning of the after-hours care available in an emergency and I was glad to have it at 10:00pm that night. Dr. McTaggart met me at the clinic in just 15 minutes. Unfortunately, it was time to say goodbye to my dear bunny, but Dr. McTaggart did it with much care and understanding. I later received heartfelt sympathy also from Dr. Klimaschka and the staff. I thank them very much for it. RID: 55345
Click to report rating    12/8/14   5     5     5     5   Wow!!! Dr.McTaggert and her staff are ANGELS!!! I took in a super tiny Netherland dwarf bunny, actually the runt of the litter, and only 8 was old. This little darling had a malocclusion that was already piercing his tongue, and his glands were swolwn from the damage that would only get worse until it finally killed him. When I got him from the breeder, it was to find someone to save his life.....fast!!!! I only had him for three days, and another vet told me that Dr. McTaggert did rabbit dentistry. This wee guy didn't have too much time left and could not even move his tongue past his teeth to drink. With all this pain (Connor ) still had enough will to live to eat a tiny bit! This was heartbreaking to watch!!! Dr Mc Taggert saw him first thing Monday morn. ,and explained to me so much about his condition, with video and models. I had great hope for Connor, and got the BEST "vibe" from the Doc., and her wonderful staff!!! I went home for an hour and a half, and Dr. McTaggert called me!! RID: 54936
