Waist of time. Sat in the room for 3 hrs. Only to have the vet come in squat on the floor, take her temp, look at her eyes and tell me we need 115 to do a blood test or 32 for a pee test otherwise I can't tell you a thing. Then charged me 95 for all that bull****. This guy isn't looking out for your pets, just his own pockets..
The only good thing about that place was the young boy that works there and leaving it.
DO NOT RECOMMEND !

Healing Hands Animal Hospital is the best Animal Hospital on the eastern shore. We have been taking our Golden Retriever there for seven years. We have not had one bad encounter with them. They have always been available when needed and with loving care.

I couldn't believe how fast they took me back when I checked in! My first experience was great... I love Dr. Smith she was very thourough and showed me how to clean my dog's ears. They gave me estimates prior to taking my dog from the room and that made me more comforable about what the plan was

staff is personable..very expensive services...exam rooms very small..had a dog die needlessly while under their care. I do not recommend this practice to friends.

I have used Dr. Lewis for many years, both in her previous and new practice. She is the most thorough, compassionate, and knowlegeable vet that I have encountered. I live in FL now and my Springer had urinary infection issues. I used a vet in FL who treated my dog with strong meds, but he didn't seem better. I have great confidence in Dr. Lewis' skills and returned to MD for her to treat my dog. She did a urine culture to determine what kind of bacteria and what meds to treat my dog; and discovered that he has two that are not easily treated. After spending nearly a thousand dollars in a month at the other vet to only have urinalysis, xrays and expensive meds and the next step would be an MRI---why wasn't that vet knowledgeable enough to culture to determine what he was treating and how to treat it???? Now if I could only find Dr. Lewis' expertise in FL!!!

The staff is friendly and and treat my dog like a part of their family. He loves to go and they check him from top to bottom EVERY time he goes..thankfully he has only needed routine things (check ups and neutering). They are the only place that has ever called after my visit to check up on my dog and see how he is doing. Punctual as is possible considering there may be an emergency. A little pricey but well worth the money for the care received. I only wish that they would be the ones to take care of my animal if it were an emergency, other than that they are the best I have found around here.

All of the staff is great, EXCEPT for Dr. Lewis!! My dog got puppy shingles a few months ago. It started off as ear infections, and when I brought him in she pretty much told me I wasn't fit to be a pet parent!! Thankfully Dr. Smith was there when I brought him in the next day, if it wasn't for her I don't think my puppy would have made it!! Dr. Smith was fantastic and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my pet!

Dr. Lewis took very good care of my pet when she began aging and did major surgery on her to save her life. She has kept her with me 3 years longer than she would have otherwise. The prices may be a little expensive but it is hard to find good pet care in Salisbury.

Loved the staff here! Was a little overwhelmed with the final bill. They want you to do the best for your pets, but do not listen to your financial situation. If they fixed that, I could go back. Good, caring people that need to see the other side of things. I am thinking they will get it right!

After several bad experiences with another local vet, I took my dog to Healing Hands for the first time today and was extremely impressed with the service. They were extremely thorough in their examination and explained everything they were doing. The office is extremely clean compared to other vets I've been to and smelled really nice. Dr Smith is very nice and was the other staff I had contact with. I think my dog's tail wagged almost the entire time we were there which is a switch from her previous vet experiences where her tail was tucked between her legs the entire time. The prices are very reasonable and I did not have to wait at all. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone in the Salisbury area looking for a high-quality veterinarian.

The staff at Healing Hands are among some of the kindest and most professional. Unlike many vets whose services end when you leave the office, the doctors and staff extend beyond that, calling the house just to check on my dogs! It is very reassuring to know that so close by I have everything that I might need for my pets from food to leashes and collars, to exceptional health care.

I love Dr Lewis! She's our "Holistic Vet", as we have another Vet we've been with for years and started going to her when our Golden had back problems. Acupuncture did wonders, as did the Chinese Herbs. The staff is caring, thoughtful and very professional. If Healing Hands was closer and I had the option of getting 24/7 care through them (as I do my other Vet), I would have switched to them as my primary Vet long ago. I recommend them to everyone who's looking for an excellent Vet.

Wow, I never knew a vet clinic could be so clean! I recently bought my dog in to have his teeth cleaned (which is discounted 10% in February!) and the staff was great. They made sure he was current on all his vaccines so it would be safe for him to be in their kennel, and then even called me when we woke up from anesthesia. Then, the next day they called to make sure he was doing well! One feature I like most is that the staff doesn't act like my dog is just a number- they remember him and I by name every time they see us. I just wish they were open on weekends. At least they have evening hours most of the week. It is very clear that the doctors and tecks really care about their patients. keep up the good work!!

This is the most amazing Veterinary Clinic I've ever been to, they are the most amazing, sweet, understanding, caring and helpful staff at any place I have ever seen! Without a doubt the best services possible are offered to every pet and their owner, no matter what the cost or the time every dog or cat is treated with the best care, and everything is perfectly placed and neat. The entire clinic from what I've seen is as clean as possible, and it's just an all around friendly, great smelling and clean environment.
