Click to report rating    7/26/16   3     2     1     1   Cost is very expensive. Staff put us in an exam room after a 45 minute wait. While waiting I noticed blood on the floor, so moved myself and dog to other side of room. After another 45 minutes staff finally came in, and just said "Oh, guess we forgot to clean this room." For the price they charged for a brief exam, and some antibiotics, to get my pet thru to see my own vet, I would expect a clean and sanitary exam room. RID: 61197
Click to report rating    5/31/12   1     1     1     1   The cost to get their services is very very expensive. My pet got very sick and his primary care doctor was not available and I took my pet to this place avcs emergency care. They diagnosed that my pet had a thyroid issue. No medication for thyroid was administered; my pet was diagnosed and a $500+ cost was added. My pet was administered some dehydration liquids and sent home. They did some blood works and told me to call back for the results. Two days later they had the blood results and they called me to pick up the thyroid medication (highly priced at $50 for a 30 day supply). At this point in time my pet was still very sick and I had to bring him in again and avcs told me he needed surgery ($3000). The surgery was so nutrients can be fed to him thru a tube; they just wanted more money. I refused this so call needed surgery and took my pet home. The day after I had given my pet the thyroid medication, my pet started to get well and definitely had not needed that surgery. RID: 34654
