Dr. Bala is wonderful. He is patient, attentive and honest. I've taken two of my dogs to him over the years and he and his staff have been great. He takes the time to help you understand your pet's health and to discuss options. He makes fair and realistic recommendations and takes time after hours when needed to see your pet or follow up by phone. Very happy to have found a vet clinic that respects pets and their concerned owners.

My dog got hit by a car, and I had to take it to the closet vet clinic (not my own, which told me they did not have room). The doctor saw my dog and gave it pain medications. Luckily she was fine, but the vet saw her on urgent basis and did not charge me. On a moment of hysterics on my part the vet calmed me down and helped us in our moment of desparation.

DR. BALA IS SOOOOO PATIENT AND SOOOOOO KIND AND TREATS AND CARES FOR ALL THE ANIMALS LIKE THEY WERE HIS.WHEN OUR DOG "CHASE" WAS DIAGNOSED AND ONLY HAD LESS THAN A DAY TO LIVE THE DR. STAYED 2 HOURS OVERTIME FOR OUR FAMILY TO SAY GOODBYE TO HIM. hE WAS EVEN UPSET ABOUT OUR DOG.I ONLY TRUST HIM AND HE IS EXTREMELY REASONABLE. I HAVE SEEN OTHER DR.S IN MY 30+ YEARS WITH PETS AND HE IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST! SINCERELY, DIANE WIEDERHOLD

Don't go by the price ,remember you are dealing with life of your pet.This is the clinic which may do very basic stuff.With any complex cases they are lost.They are too busy with routine procedures which is good for a resident of OVC.I believe they don't know how to deal with serious cases and no time either.I won't take my pet anymore if she pulls through.

Dr Bala and his staff are great. It is not one of the fancy clinics in the neighbourhood, but the staff makes up for the environment. Very knowledgeable and caring -- it's obvious with how the pets interact with all of them. I know our puppy really likes Dr Bala and gets happy excited to see him (rather than getting sacred or anxious) All the staff have been great but an exceptionally caring employee is Michelle who called us to get a status update on our sick puppy. Well worth having a relationship with this veterinarian!!!

Vet very nice but not knowledgeable Good for annual shots but do not go there if your pet has a serious problem.
Not a very clean place. They let me use their bathroom…haven’t seen such disgusting bathroom in a long time

Excellent vet. Very responsive, tries to accomodate pickup times for animals that have been boarded there and has reasonable prices. Toronto Cat Rescue and Toronto Animal Services bring their animals to him.

Dr. Bala and his staff are friendly. They care for all animals as if they were their own. Reasonable prices. Knowledgable staff. Just plain all around wonderful experience with Dr. Bala. He explains everything he does and answers any question. I will take my pets there for any other treatments they would require in the future. You won't be disappointmed with this vet...
