I brought a dog I was fostering in to Countryside once, & the vet tried to convince me that the dog should be euthanized because he was old & had health issues, even though he was clearly still enjoying life. Got a second opinion, & they concurred that the dog was happy & definitely not suffering! I would not take my pets to this vet.

Excellent care and service. Stuff is very friendly and always goes an extra mile for me. Dr. Braaten is very experienced and so gentle with my felines. They aren't anxious anymore when they come for check ups. She explains everything so clearly. I am quite happy with Countryside and recommend them to other pet owners.

I came to Countryside for a second opinion and I am so glad I did. My dog had chronic problem for a year and I wasn't getting anywhere with my previous vet. Dr. Braaten took the time to review my dogs long history, did few tests and she made recommendations that really helped my dog. She listened to me and showed her understanding and compassion. I moved all my animals to Countryside. Staff is very friendly, great service and the care is exceptional!

I've been seeing Dr. Braaten for over a year now and am very happy with her and the service her clinic provides. She figured out right away that my dog's issues were diet related and changed her diet accordingly and my dog improved immediately. I highly recommend her.

I have taken my dog, cats and rats to Countryside and have always been very happy with services and the staff. Great veterinary clinic! Dr. Braten is a great vet. Thanks for everything over the last few years.

I am really happy with this vet hospital. I brought my dog and cats here for many years and always had great care from Dr. Braaten. The staff is friendly and understanding of my needs. I get follow ups all the time. These people care about animals and it shows. I find prices reasonable for the level of care and time I receive.

This is a great hospital with friendly staff. Dr. Braaten provides great care to my cats. Very low stress environment. I don't have to wait in line every time. Always warm and caring. I recommend Countryside to everyone. I haven't had any complaints. I switched from another large hospital in town. Huge difference in service and attitude. They make you feel like family.

We brought in our little dog and she was very ill. i found it odd that we weren't given enough meds for her to get her through a weekend, I had to ask for more meds. I also had to ask where an emergency Vet was, should our dog need immediate treatment, after hours. They never thought to provide me with that info. The receptionist was cold and very, very loud, which didn't help my dog's anxiety for being there. It was a bad and costly experience that didn't help my dog.

Dr Braaten doesn't like cats, DON'T take your cat there if you want the best care for your pet. The hospital itself is newer than others, but under staffed.

we switched from another vet in the general area on recommendation of another dog owner. Last vet continually tried to sell us their dog food, even though our dog was healthy. We are more than happy with our decision - great staff, reasonable prices. Staff calls to follow-up after any procedures & calls the day before to remind you of your apt. Dr.Braaten is excellent. Thank you.

Dr. Braaten and her staff have provided the highest level of care and compassion I have ever received for my pets. Dr. Braaten is always able to see my animals (even last minute) and her staff always call me to check in on how my pets are after their appointments. I am new to Victoria and am so happy to find such an amazing vet clinic.

Very friendly and accomodating staff and Dr. Braaten is knowledgeable and kind. The facilities are very clean. Everything I need and want in a vet clinic.

My first time at this new clinic and my experience was very good. Dr. Julia was wonderful with my rats even when one of them bite her. The staff there are so friendly and i have to say this was the best experience that i have had at a animal clinic.I will definitly be returning there.
