Highly recommended. Extremely caring and compassionate. Seasoned veteran a pro. I'd go nowhere else. Dr Mobarack has been our vet for 20 years. Our cat fought twice with raccoons. Both times, we thought he'd need to be put down. His face was severely ripped. Both times, Dr Mobarack fixed him. The cat eventually died, but at 22. Our dog fought with a porcupine. We showed-up on a Friday night, 2 minutes before closing. The Dr looked at me and simply said "we'll fix her". The staff stayed an extra two hours to care for my dog. This same dog later developed a brain tumour. Dr Mobarack explained the prognosis and possible outcomes. A decision needed to be made which we could not make. Dr Mobarack compassionately walked the road with us, for months. I'd show up, often unannounced, and he'd care for our dog. Dr Mobarack was there for us.

Having had dogs for 30 yrs and having visited several Vet Clinics I have to say this clinic gets a 5*Star rating. Dr Patel was able to diagnose a problem with our Bull Mastiff eyes, where as after spending 10 mins and paying almost $400 to an eye specialist for dogs we had no diagnosis !! Dr Patel gave us treatment plan and will consult Dr Mobrack about possible surgery. Melissa is fantastic ,so smart and kind and helpful. She gave us lots of encouragement and she was so very sweet . You can tell she loves dogs and enjoys her job. She ,DR Patel and Dr Mobrack are amazing and I am so thrilled to have them looking after our 3 dogs : Bull Mastiff, Chow Cjow and a Yorkie !!!

mistreated my kitten - kept him for 2 nights for no reason. on returning him to my normal vet because he STILL had symptoms they were unsure and concerned why he did what he did - as it was inappropriate for a kitten with diarrhea. They treated him with routine meds and he came around and gained weight within two days. do not go to this vet!! they were rude and about money not about care.

My dog, Daisy Mae, was well treated and Chrissy Lawson the Vet. Tech. was amazing! It did not cost me a fortune and Dr. Sabah Mobarak was gentle and caring. Everything I asked about was addressed and I could not have asked for better care to be given to my furperson! I highly recommend the Blackburn Animal Hospital for veterinarian service!

This is devastating news that needs to posted. Our 13 week old kitten was killed today by the hand of this business. She was spayed from human society in June and had a clean bill of health. We waited till she would in better health for this regular declaw procedure. When we brought her in this morning we did the paper work, and thought what we wrote was honest. They easily pushed the fluid flush for more money, but failed on explaining anything else. Like why it's important for blood work. They never walked us through risks. At the end of the paper work they just took her and that was it. 4 hours later we were told she died!!! When they explained they said because we didn't check the blood work that may have been the cause. This business should have educated us that this is a mandatory thing. Or walk us through the risks of what we are agreeing too. Apparently during the procedure they administered the anistisia, which didn't take. So they gave her more. Jenny died

I got my two and a half month old puppy and he got extremely sick very fast. After over 1000$ worth of tests, it was confirmed he had Addison's disease. After a few months, another expensive blood test was done and confirmed that he had Addison's. After a lot of money on pills and another blood test two years later, he found "something wrong" with his liver and he went on another daily pill. The vet seemed too interested in getting money then the actual care of my baby. I moved and went with my parent's vet in Orleans. The vet said take him off the liver pills because the Addison's pill will be causing the "wrong" in his liver. and we're going to ween him off the Addison's pills because I don't think he has addisons (confirmed with a colleague/specialist) and he's been off his pills for 3 months and he's perfectly fine. The vet got my baby on two different pills, multiple thousands of $ worth of tests, just to misdiagnost my 5 pound dog. I will NEVER recommend or go back. EVER.

Had multiple bad experiences with this vet before smartening up and transferring to another vet service. Always suggests multiple tests (blood, X-rays, etc) that come up as inconclusive and require more testing... Or attempts to pressure you into expensive treatments or medications that "May or May not" permanently treat the problem. Preformed terrible stitching job (was very loose, wasn't properly tied I had to tie the end when I got home) on my dog and when it fell out he wouldn't fix his mistake. When I asked him to fix it I was told and I quote, "it's a business first I can't provide free treatments". The animals welfare is not his first concern, money comes first. I would never trust that man with my animals ever again.

Blackburn Animal Hospital is fantastic! My regular vet isn't open on weekends and one Saturday my dog wasn't acting right. I had heard about Blackburn through word of mouth and frantically called them for advice. The staff were so welcoming and friendly over the phone, it didn't matter if I was a client they immediately invited me to bring my dog in that day for exam and observation. Dr. Mobarak and staff are extremely knowledgeable which put my worries at ease. I can confidently say I trust Dr. Mobarak, the health and welfare of his patients are definite priorities.

I have been coming to see Dr Mobarak for years and absolutely love him and his friendly knowlegable staff. Very affordable prices compared to other clinics and you can tell he cares for everyone of his patients individually. All these comments are rude and untrue. I strongly recommend this place to anybody!

I took my 4 Cockatiels just to get there wings clipped and toenails clipped, my birds toes were bleeding so he saw that I was upset and took the birds in to another room. And it was clear he was having trouble seeing. I will never go back.

This Vet forces tests and unnecessary medicine on animals. He told us that our dog would never recover and would necessitate drugs for the rest of his life. To this day, I think he killed our dog.

I just came from another vet with blood tests 2-3 months prior with indication that his kidneys weren't doing so well. My cat had been vomiting a lot. He asked for another blood test, x-ray, intravenous flush and to stay over night. I said ok to the first two. He said he kidney were too small and had a cyst. I left with nothing concrete. He kept throwing up. I went back and he did a urine extraction in which he squeezed his bladder unbelievably hard until he peed. Tells me its ok just a little dehydrated. Now 2 weeks later he won't eat and if he does he throws up. I gave you the short version. Yesterday I asked if I should put him down and he said he should do an ultra sound to make sure. Really? He wants another useless test just to make more money? I write this with my cat beside me and crying. I will soon have to put him down.
