Came in to have my dogs nails trimmed. Warned them about a back injury that led him to be cautious. Watched my dog fall off of their table several times. Then watched them forcefully pin him to the ground hurting him. Leading him to start yelping. The vet then picked him up but the skin on his back and put him back on the table they already neglected to catch him from falling off of. They then charged me almost double what they said they would. I have placed several complaints and am in the process of waiting to hear back. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

This is all I have to say, and all you need to know. CA Vet Medical Board Disciplinary Action: Rex Wallis Urich, DVM #7474, San Mateo, California.
Revocation stayed/Five years probation effective November 19,
2004. Basis for discipline: In a stipulated agreement, Dr. Urich
stipulated that cause for discipline existed based on unprofessional
conduct, negligence, record keeping violations, and a criminal
conviction.
Mandatory Terms and Conditions During Five Years Probation
include:
1. Standard terms and conditions of probation
2. Actual suspension for 30 days
3. Supervised practice during probation
4. No management or administration of any veterinary
hospital

I have never seen a better caring Vet than Dr Rex His staff are excellent and the service for cost is not to be topped.
