We have been taking our cats here for years. In the past few years we have had way more issues with the people that work here. We find that they care more about selling you stuff that you don't need then about your pet. They also don't seem to listen to anything you say. We are really disappointed in them.

I have been going to this clinic for years, and Dr Ring and the rest of the staff are AMAZING. Dr Ring euthanized my dog several years ago, and what could have been an awful experience, turned out to be peaceful, and respectful to my dog. She is now treating my cat who is ill, and she has taken her time explaining things, answering my questions and hugging me when I burst into tears. Kerry (vet tech) was assisting Dr Ring, and was also sympathetic, kind and incredibly patient. I can't say enough good things about Dr Ring and her co workers, I'm so glad that they are the caregivers to my cat.

My cats have received the very best of care. Several years ago, one of my kitties got seriously ill. Dr. Ring saved his life! She always takes the time to explain what is going on, and what the treatment options are. I know she works late to facilitate getting in touch with the clients.

Dr. Ring and her staff have treated our pets since taking over and we could not be happier. The time she takes with us and our concerns shows she truly cares and understands how much a part of the family our dogs are. Her knowledge and ability to clearly articulate issues and treatments makes it so much easier to handle stressful and emotional situations. We can't thank you enough. We will always bring our pets to your caring and friendly practice.

I had been going to this clinic for over 20 years with my pets. I found the service to have really gone down since the Clinic was taken over. I feel that the staff doesn't listen to what you say and doesn't value that you know your pet better then anyone. I agree with what others say about the almighty dollar being too important.

I have been bringing my two dogs here for 7 years and am so happy to have found the most amazing vet clinic ever! I have been to so many clinics and also worked in many clinics when I was younger. Everyone at Pioneer Pet Hospital treats you and your pets like family. My dogs are always excited and happy when we pull in. Dr. Ring is very professional and empathetic too, and so are the other members of the team. I am so lucky to have found this clinic and it is worth driving from the other end of Waterloo for! I would give 10 stars if I could!

I had been taking my dogs to Pioneer Pet Hospital for over 13yrs, and noticed the level of care had deteriorated when the clinic was taken over by it's current owner. She doesn't appear to have much knowledge or experience, and is primariliy interested in the almighty dollar.

I brought my 15 year old cat to pioneer because it was spade there 'new ownership' did not know. She 'the owner of clinic' had no skills in cat relating or putting at Susie at ease. She jabbed a Q-tip into her ears holding her head. Unprofessional and unknowledgeable.
