Outdates facility. Desk staff obnoxious and Dr. Kramer is a pompous know-it-all with little compassion. STAY AWAY!!! Much better animal hospitals out there.

After 6 months of trying to find out what was going on with my dog I went for a second opinion. I got the care my dog needed within two weeks and I will now stay at that Huntington Animal Hospital with Dr. Kramer.

Dr. Jeff Kramer had been treating my 14 year old dog while she was in declining health. My usual vet is 3 1/2 hours away and I needed someone close by. He seemed very caring & sympathetic. Then my dog died, at home. I brought her to Dr. Kramer's office so he could arrange to have her cremated. I was assured it would be taken care of. One week later I received a call from the crematorium to let me know they had just picked up my dog. Apparently there had been some miscommunication between them and Dr. Kramer and it never even occurred to him to follow up with them. My dog was left alone and abandoned in his freezer for a week. If that wasn't bad enough, when I told him how incredibly angry and upset I was, he couldn't begin to understand why. As he stated to me, "It's not like there was anything I could do for her." Dr. Jeff Kramer seems very caring while your loved one is alive and treatable, but his compassion dies when your beloved pet's heart stops beating.
