I brought my dog here for 6 years to see Dr Parmegiani. He was amazing but there is a new owner who is horrible. I brought my dog in today and the vet wasnt there but his newly licensed daughter was. She was extremely unsure of herself but that wasnt my issue. My dog needed bloodwork and she brought him in the back where she took 45 minutes! Yes 45 minutes! To draw blood from my dog and after all that time she still couldn't find a vein. She pooked him 8 times and shaved his entire neck. He is now covered in bruises from all the needle marks. She didn't even have the decency to come out and apologize or explain herself. She sent the tech out who was almost in tears. The tech said hes got a thick neck and they couldn't find a vein ( but in 6 years hes never had an issue with bloodwork). I am livid and extremely upset over this. Please keep your beloved animals away from this place. I'm reporting her to the college.

Stay far away if you love your animals. The only caring person there is Jason. Devshi Barvalia is a terrible vet who took over from Luigi when he retired. Luigi was an honest caring vet. Barvalia is a money grabbing incompetent individual. He does not care! He will prescribe medications but does not give a writtten report about what the actual problem or condition is. His excuse is I will write it up later. The Veterinary Association should be looking into his credentials and training. After many years at Ripley's I will never return again. Please do not go to this vet.

The new vet does not care , doesnt listen what we say , very expensive , ordered a dietary food for my dog and charged me $130.00 instead of $80.00 in Pet's mart

Knowledgeable staff. Very good service. Reasonably prized. I have been to many hospitals around the area. Finally, found the best vet.

Used Luigi as vet for my two dogs for the past 13 years, unfortunately he has now retired. New doctor is absolutely terrible. Would not recommend this clinic to anyone. Over charged and did not explain my dogs illness, went to another vet and my dog was so sick he almost died. However, new doctor just let my dog leave clinic after ten min poor examination. Will never return.

Great vet. Luigi has taken great care of all my dogs for 13 years. Jason is amazing, super caring and so is the rest of the staff. The prices are affordable and best off all, the clinic is honest and never tries to sell us medication we don't need, unlike Rutherford &400 animal hospital! Sometimes the clinic gets very busy so we book either the earliest appointment or the first one after lunch to avoid the crowd.

I take my pets here for vaccines as they are the cheapest! The place smells like an unwashed dog kennel unlike any vets I've been too. They overbook spots stressing out pets and Dr Ridley is concerningly getting old but often pleasant. All other concerns, I go elsewhere. Hope this helps.

My daughter brought her hamster to be cremated and they wanted to charge her $210! We went to Canyon Hill and they charged her $30. I was very upset that they would try to gouge a young girl.

Terrible doctor. This cruel doctor took Biopsy from my dog when it was not even needed. Commonly vets use skin scraping to check the diagnosis. But he just wanted to charge more money and brought a lot of pain to our loved dog.

I took my dog in to get fixed and a week later went back to get the stitches removed. The vet is an older gentleman and I guess he couldn't see because he missed cutting my dogs stitch and cut his manhood instead !! My dog screamed, ran to me, and hid. I will never go to this vet again!

I don't even live near by, i live about 50 minutes away, but I think they are great, they don't look fancy, but they care, I have two dogs, I was spending so much at another clinic with no results, my dogs was in pain for almost a year and now he is fine, because of dr. Luigi. My other dog would be sick for a couple days after getting his teeth cleaned, but at ripley, after my dog got a couple teeth removed and cleaned, he was running around and didn't,t even look like he had a procedure.

Ive been taking my dog here for many years. They have been very kind and nice to us. My dog just had a tumor the size of a football removed by the so called old doctor that doesnt care for pets. They also came in on boxing day just for my dog to get her drained from the area where she had surgery a week prior.
