Our dog was very sick and Dr. Snieder was very compassionate with our dogs serious illness. One of the best vets we have experienced in over 30 years of owning animals. Wonderful clinic. The parking can be challenging sometimes. I wish they were open on Saturday mornings though.

We have two dogs - one which gets anxious in new places. Both dogs LOVE going to Fairview and I’m often dragging them out of the building. All three vets vets are great and very knowledgeable. Their staff are all very friendly. I would highly recommend Fairview animal clinic!

I have been going to this clinic for over twenty years. They are great! Recently now that two of my pets are seniors Dr Combes was thorough and I love that my pets don't get overly stressed with her. Also Heather has called me at home with information and she's never rushed. I also love the fact that she doesn't push vaccinations for senior animals. I tell everyone to go to Fairview Animal clinic because they are reasonably priced and knowledgeable and it's a nice place to go to. I've never had to wait long either and if I do wait there's always someone to chat with. I've heard lots of bad stories about vets in our area, but if you go to Fairview you will never have to worry about your pets.

First time I went for scheduled appt..was kept waiting for 11/2 hrs!!.. 2nd time made an urgent care appt for another of my animals...showed up at the appointed time...& no one was there... seemed they "forgot" about this emergency appt.... needless to say .. I will no longer be using them for my animals!!!!

For over 45 years, we have been with Drs Bill and Heather Combes, always professional. Dr W Combe came out to our farm for cattle and horses. An excellent caring and professional Vet. We were sorry to hear of his passing. We were happy to see Dr Heather Combe followed with services. Since, we just have our Spaniels now, Heather is a very caring and professional vet. For those who have written ill comments, be kind for we are all human, and perhaps they do not meet to your expectations, And as for cost, there is no price one should put on a family pet , perhaps one should asked about the cost. A sincere Thankyou. Definitely continuing with your service.

Dr. Nick Snieder is the BEST vet that we have experienced in our dogs 14 year life. We recently had to put her down and the care, compassion and genuine warmth that Dr. Nick showed us was second to none. NEVER have we had a vet like this. He was simply amazing!

I have been going to this clinic for about 9 years now. They have always given my dog the best care possible. If I have concerns about a lump or bump they take a sample right away and let you know whats going on BEFORE you leave. This is all done at a very affordable cost. I will continue to recommend this clinic to any pet owners.

When my new vet got my files from this clinic they called and let me know this clinic wrote in big letters on the top of my file "PITA" which is short for "Pain in the arse". They also provided me a copy with it in case I wanted to pursue it further. Pretty sad a clinic would write this about a client who happens to be in the field herself and knows a thing or two.

I have been going to this animal clinic for many, many years and all my animals were always given a great deal of excellent care. I recently had to put my 16 year old cat down due to illness and Dr Locking and helper were so gentle, loving and caring. It made it so much easier to accept. Thank you to all members of Fairview Animal Clinic for their kindness and gentleness in handling our beloved pet

My family and Husband's family have had the Comb family look after our pets for over 30yrs. The family and staff have been very compassionate in the care of our pets during their early years, during pregnancies,their babies and right to their end of time. The staff cried with us. The staff may have their off days but who doesn't. I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else.

My mom's cat received a horrible diagnosis from a local vet I use .....while she was visiting me. I called Fairview....one of the vets (Nick) spent @ 20 minutes on the phone with me and urged me to seek a second opinion locally....I subsequently went to Orillia Pet Hospital ...receiving excellent treatment and news..... It was nice to see Fairview cares enough about their patients to spend time like that to ensure their well being ....even without compensation!

I have had cats all of my life and because of that, have encountered many vets. Of all of the vets I have seen over many many years, I find that Fairview Animal Clinic has been the best clinic with reasonable prices and great care. In particular, Dr. D. Locking is absolutely the most understanding, caring and empathetic vet I have ever met. She truly does go above and beyond with her patients and I will always be grateful to her for the kindness she has shown me.She took my very sick cat home to take care of her and did everything possible to try and help her. Unfortunately my kitty was too sick and had to be put down but the way Dr. Locking handled this, explaining everything so I had an understanding of exactly why it was necessary. Her empathetic nature certainly made the decision to do this just a little easier. She is an amazing person and genuinely cares about her patients. She is an exemplary veternarian !! Only complaint is the one receptionist -not friendly and rarely smiles.

While the quality of care for pets is there I will not recommend this clinic as the STAFF (veterinarians, technicians and receptionists) are not treated with the same care. Staff is often berated, belittled, overworked and put to tears. I refuse to line the clinic owners pockets when they can't treat their wonderful staff with the respect they deserve.

From the first visit I found the staff to be professional and caring. Appointments were available on a moments notice if needed and never a long waiting room time. By the time we had our last visit I had recommended this clinic to several friends who were also pleased by their experience. Our last visit was so difficult but made much easier by the understanding and sympathetic nature of the care we received. Any future pets in my home will be also be future patients of this clinic

I have gone to this vet clinic with various pets over the past 15 years. The vets are fantastic and the prices are very reasonable. They don't try to push you into unnecessary procedures. My main complaint is that the receptionist is rude, unfriendly, won't answer simple questions, and seems to really hate her job. The parking lot also isn't the best, but it's definitely not the worst. They can always fit me in the day I need service, even at the last minute. I am very thankful for the services Fairview Animal Clinic has provided my animals with, and will continue to bring pets to them in the future.

The receptionist is rude and frequently unpleasant. The building is a dump with terrible parking and a cramped waiting room, making the facilities poor. The prices are definitely on the high side. I've decided to move on.

My mom and dad went here and I continued with my pets as I got older. They have been nothing but great! Dr.Locking is awesome!!! She saved our cats life :) and took her home with her for the few days she needed 24 hour care... Truth be told the extensive operation we had to do we would never had been able to afford the ER* (our cat ate a soother*) she was just barely a year old at the time.. and got very sickly very quick *we didnt know at the time she ate it* she almost died several times during the surgery and after ABOVE AND BEYOND!!! Our cat is now almost 5 and very well.... Everyone is nice and they dont push foods and such.... I really have no where to compare myself but from what I hear they realy push foods and things at other ones in St.Kitts...

I was a client there last year. My two major concerns are firstly my dog reacts severely to vaccines. They refused to do any surgery unless my dog was up to date regardless of if he reacts. Secondly, my dog is a nervous dog, we needed blood work and they refused to allow me to restrain my dog the way hes fine with rather they had me leave the room, put a muzzle on him and I could hear him screaming, thrashing, yelping and throwing himself around. My dog came out panting severely, shaking and his eyes were red. That was the last time I was at this clinic my new vet allows me to restrain my dog and theres no issues. Dr Wager was really nice. It was those two incidents that drove me away. A dog who is allergic to vaccines should not have them when the reaction is severe...my new vet agrees. Prices are a little high I paid $200 for blood work I paid $70 for at my new clinic.

It's unfortunate but the quality of care has lapsed at this clinic. We took our dog in to be put to sleep. She had no red blood cells and therefore poor circulation. Dr. Combes put in the first vile and our dog jumped up and fought the injection - they ran out to get another vile and started administering it as blood was filing the vile she pushed it into our dog, Maggie. This was an inhumane way of putting our dog to rest. What should have been a peaceful ending was full of fear, anxiety and pain. Dr. Combes' response to this event was that we knew her circulation was bad - that is why it was more difficult. We look to our trained professionals for knowledge and experience and yet this is the outcome we receive. Please dont ever bring your pet here. Your pet will suffer.

I have been taking our dogs to Fairview for 20 years. All of the staff are super to work with. Dr.DD Locking has gone beyond the call of duty taking one of our pets home with her to watch. From bringing the dogs in for well Puppy exam to sending them on to the bridge they are compassionate, kind, informative and honest. We have complete trust knowing that they are doing what is best for our fur babies.

Finding a good veterinary clinic in the Niagara Region hasn't been easy, but thanks to a heads up about this place via a work friend we FINALLY found one! They offer any service we have needed so far for our two dogs (although I've heard they are lacking in areas). The staff is friendly. Just like any vet clinic they do advise you about useless treatments, however, they have been the least pushy about them. Very fairly priced on anything we've needed for our two dogs so far as well. Last but not least, we have been there multiple times now and have not had to wait long before getting in - they are good at keeping their appointment times as close as possible to the scheduled time.
