I visited Dr Sherwin today,as my vet had closed for the holidays and there was no replacement. I thought that my sick cat may have to be euthanized, which would most likely have been my only option at my regular vet. Dr Sherwin was absolutely amazing and because she took time to ask the right questions and examine him thoroughly, I was able to bring him home with medication and his future looks bright. I would absolutely recommend the clinic and will now be making Dr Sherwin my permanent vet.

These are the most remarkable people - Dr. Sherwin in particular. I always feel safe taking my dogs there and she has helped both of them immensely. I panic some weekends when I have a sick pet and she will not be available. No question is to silly and she takes the time (you never feel rushed) to answer any and all of your questions. They recently let my dog come in and stay each day for two days, while I worked, after he had had surgeri. I cannot say enough about Dr. Sherwin and her staff and am so thankful that they are there for me.

When we moved to Port Perry we needed to find a vet for our pets. Some neighbours pointed us to Scugog Animal Hospital and we are so happy they did! Very professional and friendly. Would highly recommend this hospital to others.

The doctors and staff are awesome! Always friendly, practical advice, and excellent veterinary services. Taking care of our pets has sometimes been a hassle, but not anymore since we have discovered Scugog Animal Hospital. Would highly recommend them!

We have been using this Vet for a little over a year now. Great staff and Dr. Sherwin is wonderful. Treats our dogs as if they were her own. Recently had some major surgery on our 10 year old Lab, and we are very pleased with the after-surgery care. We have also seen Dr.Langford at this clinic and she is also very nice to deal with.

I sawDr, Sherwin, an awesome experience. Our dog has nerver been comfortableat the vet, and after a few minutes with Dr. Sherwin she settled nicely. She has a nice gentle, slow approach with her assessment. Hightly recomended

I found Dr. Sherwin genuine and passionate about the health of our labrador,Bruno. Bruno always enjoys coming in and getting an ear scratch and treat from all the staff! Scugog Animal Hospitals new location at Old Simcoe St and Reach St in Port Perry has easy access and lots of parking. The office/ waiting room area and examination rooms are always clean and professionally kept.

I was very pleased with the care that Dr. Powers and the other vets at the clinic (there were a few at the time) provided to my cat. She was a stray that I decided to take in, but she needed emergency surgery. Dr. Powers agreed to do the surgery and charged a very fair price - I'm sure quite a bit lower than it should've been. He took great care of her and allowed her to come back at any time if I was concerned about how she was healing (which we had to take advantage of), also at no extra charge. I'm thankful for what he did for her - he saved her life, both by caring for her and by making her care affordable for me.

This hospital takes care of all our pets. The staff are great, especially when we ask questions. We've always trusted Dr. Powers and we feel just as trusting in Dr. Sherwin. Love the nice new hospital. Way easier to get to. Would highly recommend Scugog Animal Hospital.

Will not be going back here. My dog and cat were patients of Dr. Roland Powers. My dog came in one year with some dental tartar and all he did was prescribe his Science Diet for teeth. No other recommendations. Of course, she ended up with a heart murmur and recently passed away. He was really brash about it too, telling me "if she lives long enough..." Not compassionate at all - arrogant. My dog did see Dr. Jessica Sherwin and she was great - very kind and caring. Regarding the clinic and staff overall, however, I brought my dog from the emergency clinic overnight straight to this clinic and they treated us like annoyances, like they didn't want to fit us in! There we were sitting in the waiting room, my dog is in pain, not breathing well, IVs taped to her arms, wrapped in towels and puppy pads and they wanted us to wait! Or just leave her. No thanks! She passed away there and because we used other cremation services, they didn't even send a card! Wouldn't recommend them.
