Every time I have brought my cats here they have been treated very well. The staff are very helpful and courteous. They always put the cats at ease as they get very nervous, and for this I am so grateful.

Won’t go to the Brantford location anymore as I was treated rudely by the receptionist when I was 10 min late. I realize I was late but as a long time client I’d hope that the manner in which I was turned away would have been a little more considerate. They wouldn’t take us unless I paid an extra $75.00. There was 1 other person there waiting. I usually have a long wait there , long past my schedule appt. I thought they’d be a little more understanding that they are not the only ones who are busy. It was also my third visit in a week for a problem they obviously could not fix. I talked to a friend and she suggested a simple thing to help my dog instead of surgery. It worked great and not once did they suggest anything to help her at home. Either they were taking advantage or they did not know. Thats disturbing. Now, I called today because my nursing cat has some problems that I’m afraid may be harmful to her or kittens and recep. says they are to busy to see us. Time for a new vet

Waiting over an hour for my appointment then was told there were other more important so I would have to wait another 1 before I would be seen. They didnt even come to tell me it would be another long wait. I had to go and ask what was going on. They had completely forgot about us. IT was a horrible experience and the stoney creek location was filthy! I would never go back!

My cat had been throwing up all day, and I took her to Beattie because I was worried and wanted to take her somewhere right away. Appointment was at 9:30, didn't see the vet until almost 11pm, only for him to leave for 20 minutes to get an "estimate" of how much it would cost for her to stay over night and have tests done. He said it would be anywhere from 980-1200 for X-rays, blood work, etc. I looked at the breakdown of the cost and there was $120 in "miscellaneous charges" this place is a total money grab and they're preying on people in desperation with sick animals. It's disgusting. After hours should not justify this kind of extortion. Sickening. Ended up saying no I'll just take my cat to my vet during the day and I still had to pay $50 just for them to briefly look at the cat and try to squeeze money out of me. Appalled.

This clinic is very clean modern and up to date. The staff are very warm and caring. The vets are compassionate and thorough. I have never had any problem with any diagnosis I was given. People who google need to take the info with a grain of salt and not trust it as gospel. The prices are very fair for the quality of services offered. I will be returning with my pets.

I've gone to Beattie a number of times, mostly the Brantford location. I've always been happy with this location and have always recommended it. Since they opened up the Stoney Creek location, I've been going there as it's closer. They have always been accomodating at this location but the veternarians are not that good. Most recently they misdiagnosed my dachshund, made what I consider a hasty diagnosis and assumed because he was a dachshund that it had to be suffering the back/spine problem. Just spend more then 2 minutes diagnosing a dog and don't assume that because of the breed of the dog, that must be the problem.

I see alot of negativty about this clinic and i myself have never had a problem and i take my pets there regularly for their vaccines, boarding, and any concerns i have. I feel all the comments are very disrespectful towards the clinic itself. The doctors are all amazing and if people have issues with having a different doctor everytime then you can request to see the same doctor. And for those of you who say that the staff mistreat the pets need to pay more attention. These people dedicate themselves to helping pets and take care of the pets better then anything else. Ive also heard complaints about cost, again not sure what your talking about but you cannot afford to take care of your pet especially for emergencies then maybe you shouldnt have pets. Would you complain if you had to pay for your kids health bills? Stop complaining about the lovely staff and the facility itself. Its been in service for 50+ years.

Love Beatties! Very clean facilities and the doctors are wonderful! I never see the same doctor but honestly I don't care all of them are knowledgeable and friendly.

A two hundred dollar estimate went to $400 b3cause of add on's. The technicians and the front office did not know what their procedure was, so it is wait and wait while clerks were standing and making small talk. It took over 1 h to pick up an aminal at 4.30 pm that was supposed to be ready at 10.00 am.I would not recomend this clinic. Other people had left unhappy while we were their.

I took my son's service dog here today for what was his second visit ti this vet. We loved our old vetbut the old one was over an dhour away and quite pricey. Battie is known for their good fair prices. First time i went with my son's dog the care seemed good but i was bothered by the fact that they put you in an exam room with yoru oet but then they come to that room and lead yoru pet away into another room to do any proceedure or care so that you are not aboe to see what they are doing. I gave them thebenefit of the doubt, tonight i took my son's dog there to have a dew claw injury cared for. The calw had separated from the quick and kept bleeding so the claw needed to be removed. They took me with out an appointment quickly and the wait wasnt too bad but once again they led us to an exam room which smelled really bad ...like a home with too many oets that is bever cleaned mixed with the smell of animal death. Do not go to this clinic. I took my cat here because they were open and my regular(and wonderful)vet was not.My nineteen year old cat was treated with disgust. I was actually told not to hold her by the vet who recomended she be put to sleep without care because she was too old and likely was full of infection that she couldn't fight.I insisted she be given antibiotics and pain meds. so that I could take her to her regular vet the next day. This was done but the vet said several times he disagreed with it. She was brought to her regular vet the next day, was treated(with respect) and i brought her home that day. Another vet did call and apoligize the next day with hopes that my cat was giving the care and chance she deserved. He also said that his own cat had had a similar condition and that having her put to sleep is not what they would usually recommend. I was given refund. The techs were also disrespectful and cold to us. My cat is thriving and doing well today.

loved the staff and doctors they really seemed to care about my pet when he was sick. Dr.'s were great they had my dog back on his feet in no time. would highly recommend Beatties to all. and the prices were a refreshing change from the usually expensive veterinary prices

First examination with staff member was not so good. Lady was slightly rude. But what really got me was when she went to leave the room, my pup went to follow her and the lady was pretty rough when pushing her away from the door with her foot. I let that slide; I guess I should have been holding her. The DR finally came in she was very nice, handled my pup with care & very knowledgeable. At the end of the appointment I asked to have my pups nails trimmed. The ladies that trimmed her nails were unusually rough with her. Cut few nails too short, pup was screaming, crying and one lady was choking her while the other one stretched her leg so far she could have broken it. A good amount of blood was on the table. Honestly, it was very sad to see professionals get that stressed out while showing a total lack of compassion. I would not recommend this hospital because I feel the staff need further training. I left feeling somewhat horrified. By my pups behaviour, she did too.

I will never take another animal I own there. I have had a few incidences. I had to put down my best friend because he was in his last days, not in pain but he couldn't go to the washroom or do much but lay down. They took him back to put catheter in his paw, my little bud was crying big time, the Doctor was nice, but something was not right. The first med went in and he cried even louder, then the second med went in and he was suffering big time, the Doctor said I have to take him to the back for a moment and took him away. When he came back about 5 minutes later my bud was deaceased, he said it took a while for the meds to work due to his age. BUT!!! If I had known that he was suffering that much with the meds going in him and it took him a long time to die I would have just took him back home and let him go peacefully at home instead of his last moments to be in big pain. There has to be a way of letting animals fall asleep first before they pass on.

Watch out they will try to nickle and dime you for everything you have but when i say nickle and dime i mean hundreds. Had my dog neutered there and was told that it was free for all check ups after related to the surgery. my dog has some open cuts still where the insishon was made and i have called to ask for the doctor to just see if its normal but they charge 50bucks for even a visit. i was mis lead before the surgery and now after regret having it done there. poor customer service and very poor staff. BEHIND CLOSED DOORS THEY ARE MEAN TO ANIMALS ALSO I HAVE WITNESSED THIS FIRST HAND ALSO all around money grabbers BEWARE. Never thought a "pet friendly hospital" could be so two faced. i will NEVER return and advise all to think twice before going here Thanks for reading
