Dealt with them for a few years, and they were great, but they badly let us down last week. One our dogs, only 8 years old, got sores on her tummy and was listless. They prescribed antibiotics and cream. She stopped eating and drinking and was vomiting bile. They prescribed pills to regain her appetite, and special food. She became worse, and was vomiting brown stuff. We rushed her to Emergency at a different vet, but she would not wake up and had to stretchered inside. The vet said her heart had stopped, they performed CPR, but she died. While working on her an ultrasound found that her uterus was full of pus, had ruptured and was leaking into her stomach. She said that Kemptville should have spotted this early, and could have saved her life. They refuse to accept responsibility, and will not refund the fees they charged.

Not happy with the clinic they took a bad exray of my dogs stomach. The exray was too dark they could not read it. I took the exray to another veterinarian and had to have a new one taken.

Our Golden Retriever has received his care from the KAH from 6 weeks through to his neutering today at six months. We cannot say enough about the staff, their attention to detail and their overall care and compassion towards their client pets. They are simply outstanding and have the midas touch. When we asked one of the vet techs about their positive approach to every visit and contact she simply said "we love our jobs and the animals we get to treat." This attitude prevails throughout the organization. This is a very competitive industry and the KAH is top notch. Highly recommended....
