I had to go here 2 times after hours. The first time, my cat was sick, and we found out he had kidney failure. The staff was very compassionate when we had to put him to sleep. The charge was reasonable, we thought. It seemed to fit the treatment. The second time we dealt with this clinic was also after hours. My dog had been attacked by a large dog, and they cleaned her wounds and gave her an antibiotic with instructions to come back so they could make sure she was healing without infection. I've never had a problem with this vet clinic. I'm actually shocked that some people have. As far as cleanliness, I have never seen the facilities dirty. I usually go to the Oskaloosa clinic, and that one is pretty clean as well, and the staff is thorough and friendly. My pets actually enjoy going to the vet. I hope my experience with them never turns out to be a bad one. I like having a vet I can trust.

The entire staff here is unfriendly. We used them for awhile, but it got to be that I just cringed when we needed to, because they're so unfriendly. Acted like it was a nuisance to deal with customers. BUT, we continued to use until one night we had to bring our cat in after hours. The vet (Mr. Garver himself) hardly spoke to us as he dealt with the cat. I was very upset but apparently he didn't notice. I couldn't believe it when he led us back to the room, it was FILTHY!! There was blood all over the table, (some dry, but some that wasn't quIte dry) and instruments scattered about. It was obvious there'd been some kind of surgery done but the mess just left. Not sure if it was worse that the mess was left, or that he chose that area to work on my very sick cat. Needless to say we''ve never gone back nor will we!
