My dog went in for a routine teeth cleaning, shots, exam and heart worm test. He is a sweet 57lb rescue who gets very nervous at the vet. When we went to pick him up we were told it went "relatively well." Our dog was so stressed that instead of calling us to get him they restrained him so that he started thrashing around the cage and ended up with 2 very injured corneas and a fractured tooth which had to be extracted and sutured. They refuse to accept any culpability and said they did what was necessary for the care of our dog. So, we brought him in for routine procedures and took home an even more nervous stressed dog with injured corneas and a suturing in his mouth.
