Part 2 - call vet on Sat. morning @ 9 to find out why I was given the same antibiotics that the vet said wasn't working which is why we did the swab. Receptionist says she will speak with the vet. After 10 I call back and she tells me the vet is off until Mon. I say what you weren't going to call me until Mon. I'm getting very upset, my dog did not sleep all night, she kept scratching. Receptionist kept saying it was in the vets notes. Doesn't answer my question as to why the same medication. I'm getting aggressive and realize I've upset her. She put me through another vet. She doesn't answer my question either and says its in the vets note. All I want to know is why was the same medication subscribed. I feel the vet is toying with me, saying they care about my dog, it's not about the money. So I say goodbye and hand up. I call on Mon. morning to apologize to the receptionist. I ask for her and they say she won't be in until 11. I call back at 11:30. They don't answer the phone.

Amazing people, service and place. I have owned animals for most of my life and I have taken my dog hazel there for many issues. 5 or 6 issues during just the past 5 months! :( Alcona animal hospital is nothing but fair, knowledgeable, caring and consistent. My pup has gotten nothing but the best here and I real do not know where I would be without the help of all the staff at alcona animal hospital. I really do appreciate all they do for my family. Thank you Dr Nielan, Dr Mayrhofer and all the staff at Alcona Animal Hospital you guys are amazing!

Had an examination and first booster on a kitten and they want you to pay for another full examination two weeks later when getting second half of booster. Highway robbery.

If you are trying to decide where to find a team of vets that genuinely care about the welfare of your furbabies and are truly put their heart into their work, this is the place to pick. A nobrainer if you live in Innesville/ Alcona area and a short drive from Barrie. I have found the staff to exceed my expectations: you are not just a $ sign at this clinic. They do not perform needless tests, try to keep costs reasonable and give me 100% honest feedback which I appreciate. I had been discouraged with some other vets in the area until I found this gem.

This veterinary clinic has been best one in the district and one that we will recommend to all dog & cats lover in Sandycove Acres. We have visited the clinic on many occasions for various treatment to our two cat an two dogs.

I have followed Dr. Neilan to this clinic from his previous and I am so very happy that I found him again! He truly is an amazing vet and really cares about his animal patients and their families. He has been our vet for over 17 years now and I will not go anywhere else. We have two dogs and two cats who I would not trust with anyone else. If you are looking for the best of the best Alcona Animal Hospital is it!!!

I'm very happy with this animal clinic! I've been a pet owner almost my whole life & have tried out many clinic over the years. Alcona Animal Clinic is by far the best animal hospital I have ever been to! Great doctors, staff and prices too! All good experiences :) we have three dogs so we're there a lot :) I love how they take food donations for the innisfil food bank in exchange for nail trims. So great! That was one of my first impressions. I'm so used to geting ripped off on every level at an animal clinic. Alcona Animal Hospital is great for our animals & also the community. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone wanting great care & service & not getting ripped off for the love of our pets.

I followed Dr Paquette and Dr Neilan from their previous facility...Needless to say I was impressed with the new facility and the staff. Prices are compeditive. Glad we found where you had moved to!

I am so impressed with the care and compassion that Dr. Paquet, Dr. Neilan and all the staff had for both my sick puppy and our family. Their love for animals truly shows.....our puppy is so full of life now :) Fees are reasonable, and like other comments they do not do unnecesary tests.

AWESOME! AMAZING! Took my sick cat in who I never take to the vet. No pressue to do unneccessary tests. Only charged for what was necessary and super friendly nice staff! I hope to never have to go back but if I need a vet or anyone else I know does they are my first choice. Thank you thank you thanks you xo

I have been to many veterinary clinics and by far this clinic is the best of the best. Dr. Paul Neilan actually cares for his pet patients and it shows. Thank you Dr. Neilan and staff for making the most difficult day of our lives manageable. I recommend this clinic to everybody 100%.

This clinic is amazing. Thank goodness a high quality facility operated by quality veterinarians is now open in Alcona. I will never let one of my precious animals ever step foot in another clinic.

Finally, a clinic that cares! Dr. Neilan has treated our 2 goldens with the utmost care, competence and compassion. He and his new clinic are just wonderful. From the moment we walked in, it is the most welcoming environment with excellent staff and 2 exceptional vets. We have dealt with both Dr. Paquette and Dr. Neilan at this clinic and it is a great feeling to immediately know that your pets are getting the best care and that they are only doing what is needed for your pet with no unnecessary fees. It is obvious that they have your pets' best interests at heart and this is truly rare. We have been to other practices before and they cannot compare, so if you want your pets to be in the best hands, go to Alcona!
