Worst place ever to take your beloved pet....i guess people who took there beloved' pets there were not liked as much by the vet Ashleigh Cook as my cat Tigger was. Will never go there again and like other people I know with veer people away from this place

Ineffective, understaffed for the area they are servicing, wait time much too long (7 hours), charged for services and medications not needed (verified with appropriate source). will not be going back there, will go to TVEH in Scarborough in future.

Wonderful staff. Very compassionate and caring, like none we have experienced in the past!!!! They truly understands why they are there, have a heart, and should be supported as much as possible. If you have a pet, you need to know they are there. Wonderful !!! Thank-you for taking care of our boy.

My cat has been treated by ACE 2x and has received excellent care
The first time I called when my cat ate a lily–they were very helpful and after we hung up they did some research and called me back from call display to tell me to come in urgently. Because of their excellent care I had 8 more years with my beloved pet
A few days ago I noticed my cat was failing quickly so we rushed him over. They provided prompt, excellent care. Dr. Barber had treated him with the lily and remembered us from 8 years ago
This time we found out he was in kidney failure. Dr Barber explained all of our options and the pros and cons of each. We were able to take him home for one last night before returning to say goodbye
Every single staff member was exceedingly kind and sympathetic and made the worst day of my life bearable
Yes is it s bit more expensive but they are very upfront with the fees and your options. They also have an in-house lab so you get test results quickly and can act

This is an emergency clinic so the fees are higher than a typical clinic. This compensates for the fact that everyone there works nights & weekends when all other clinics are closed. That being said they gave us a discount on the exam fee because our pet was being followed by our own vet when she started to get worse over the weekend. They do charge regular rates for euthanasia. I've also had to phone & was allowed to consult with a vet over the phone for an extended period of time twice. No charge & no pressure to come in. I found that to be more than fair! Contrast that with a poison control service for pets I found online where I had to pay $70 for a five minute verbal consultation. We've used their services in emergencies twice & been more than satisfied with their expertise & professionalism. I've also never found a vet who doesn't have full confidence in sending you to the emerg clinic. I think that says it all.

We took our precious fur baby to this clinic ~ he was having kidney failure, we would never let an animal suffer and have been saving stays for over 40 years. The consultation (conversation) was a fee of $170.60....The Euthanasia was $194.50! WTF! I can't believe they are in business ! No compassion to keepers or the pet ~ Money is not the do all for decent people. We had a total bill for $412.56 for a visit of 20 minutes there ~ Again wtf ~ where do you report this greed? Don't go there unless you are rich... us seniors are on limited budgets and they charge me nearly my whole monthly income again WTF. Shameful.

This clinic will literally blackmail you to pay their fees for urgent services. They are a disgrace to the vet profession. Do not use under any circumstances.

I was there recently and the exam fee is $165.00. You need to be accountable for the treatment your animal requires, and for them to offer diagnostics, an owner has to be able to financially provide for their pet. If you are not able to, you are not at fault, but neither are they. I have been to this hospital many times with multiple animals. They are compassionate and very competent. Yes it's expensive, but that's the reality of healthcare. They are there when you need them, and they do a fantastic job.

Rip off! Unqualified staff! Way too expensive! Vet should have stayed in school. Over $200 just for looking at your pet.....everything else extra! Outrageous!

Its more $ then the average clinic, I happy to no end that this place is close to my home and there in an emergency. I have had to take my dogs more then once to this clinic, I don't ever wait too too long, and they do what they can, if they could or would just charge what a normal vet would charge it would be 5 stars but the staff and the vets were always very nice to me and do what they could for my dogs.! thanks for staying open at all hours to serve the community. I have had to be there twice on xmas and it was so much appreciated for this clinic!
