I have taken my two dogs to Value Pet clinic for years. First in Puyallup when it was Pets for less (?)and now in Tacoma for the last two years. The care is generally good. However, the pricing has changed dramatically since new ownership. The basics like exams and shots are still good value, but the rest i.e. teeth cleaning ($172 in 2011 $598 this year w/10 extra.)(and any other procedure have gone up quite a bit. Also, I always feel like I'm being up sold every time anything needs to be done. I'm now looking for a new Vet that's affordable but more conveniently located for me. Other than shots it's just not worth the drive anymore.
