I had taken my first dog to this clinic 5+ years ago & was not happy with the service - it seemed to be all about how much money they could get out of me. I decided to give them a second chance with my new dog. He was looked at by a vet who seemed knowledgeable, prescribed pills as a precaution & offered valid advice on how to prevent the same problem in the future. I was willing to accept the expensive bill based on the service & the fact that the follow-up appointment was included. However, when my son took my dog in for a follow-up visit he saw another vet. The second vet provided conflicting advice & of course, prescribed more pills, even though we still had pills at home. So I called to speak to & question the second vet, the vet assistant would not transfer me and she said she had 30years of experience so I didn't need to speak to the vet! When I said having a vet license was different then working experience she hung up on me. I will never return to this clinic.

second time bring our cat, we know that she need medication right away to easy the pain, we brought the her pee sample even.the doctor refuse to listen and telling us that she need better sample.I know it is bout money, we don't care about money, we want our cat feel better instead of waiting till same conclusion. in the end, it just delaying and give her more pain for what money?

Been taking my dog here for over a year now and have never had a bad experience. Staff is very kind and experienced. I trust them to charge me fair prices and they are very responsive through email when I have questions.

Although I have nothing particularly "bad" to say about this clinic i do have one complaint...I took my dog here for 15yrs and would only take him in to Dr.Worthy casue she is the only one I trusted to take care of him accordingly....well last year my beloved dog died and I did not receive a card or even a phone call from Dr.wWrthy telling me she was sorry for my loss..i guess I just expected more sympathy and compassion from the vet who took care and bonded with my dog over the 15yrs I brought him there :(

I have lived in different areas in Toronto, and even in the country where I have attended the local vet for that area for my pets. After living in Long Branch and finding the Long Branch Animal Clinic for my family, no matter where I live, this clinic will always be MY clinic. Their expertise and ability to help our pets based on each unique situation has been stellar. Emergencies, help with wildlife and regular upkeep has been an absolute pleasure. The staff and the doctors are all fantastic and we love how much effort they put into their charitable work and into local adoptions and lost pets. Thank you Long Branch Animal Clinic, for all that you do and for being the last vets office we ever use:)

My dog, Elmo, has alway looked happy and relaxed here. And when my dog is happy, I'm happy. I've brought him to other clinics, where he was so nervous, he trembled and pee'd on the floor. I've always been more than happy with the price, and the staff takes their time to greet my dog as if he were their own. I would recommend this place to everyone!!

Excellent vets and staff. Long Branch AC has done a great job treating our cats and our two Newfoundland dogs for years. Very knowledgeable and caring. Great attitude.

I'm not sure how anyone could say anything negative about Long Branch. Great staff, knowledgable, compassionate, helpful, and punctual. Always there to go above and beyond for you and your pet. Prices are on par with industry average.

After seeing 3 other vets, Long Branch Animal clinic is hands-down the best, and therefore, the only vet I will visit again. The staff are amazing: friendly and knowledgeable. The facility is great and they take your pets' needs seriously. I have had experiences with 3 previous vets "upselling" unnecessary treatments regarding an adopted feline for which we had a lot of health questions. I decided to get a second opinion—and the amazing vet at Long Branch Animal Clinic told me that the tests and procedures would have been unnecessary, and helped me to understand why. I appreciate the friendly, community-oriented atmosphere and most of all: everyone's honesty at this facility. I can confidently address my pets' healthcare needs at Long Branch Animal Clinic.

I have been taking my dog here for 4 years and LOVE everyone there. The vet calls a couple of days later after any visit to see how my dog is doing- even if it wasn't a big issue. They order special food for my dog and always have it available. They are mindful of my budget and always give me options for treatments when possible. Highly recommended

I, and many people I know have had nothing but horrible experiences here. I took my dog here as a puppy last year for his boosters and the veterinarian (Dr. Worthy, I believe) was extremely condescending. Offering us advice we didn't ask for and treating us like idiots. A few months ago, my dog had some sort of swelling on his chest and Dr. Worthy said it "was PROBABLY a spindle cell tumor...but it might be a different tumor or it might not even be a tumor" and wanted me to send him in for a $2500 surgery immediately. We got a second opinion and the bump was confirmed to be just a bruised shoulder. My grandmother's dog went here to have something removed from her stomach and she died overnight because they didn't stitch her up properly...A neighbour's dog now has arthritis in his rear leg at only 4 years old because of an incorrectly diagnosed foot issue thanks to this clinic. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL. Over-priced, disrespectful, and they value money over a pet's health!

Charging $86 exam fee is outrageous. Total exam time was 5 mins plus another couple of mins to vaccinate. Why are these prices not regulated?

I took my cat to this clinic for UTI because it was the closest to my home, I had never been there before. I really liked the staff for working around my schedule and the fact that they offered a more natural remedy than going straight to antibiotics was really commendable. The staff I met were awesome and very friendly and truly animal lovers.

I have been taking my pet to this clinic for years now that I'm on a fix income they won't let me get the pills my needs unless I bring her in she is 12years old I was told years ago that she would need to take thhese way pill for the rest of her life the way I see is my little dog is being punish because I'm not rich

I"ve been taking my dog here for over 3 years and they've been great. Always punctual, very caring and I feel that they're competitive fee wise. Especially when my dog had a chronic ear infection, I only got charged for one visit, rechecks were free until the problem was solved.

I've only had good experiences with this vet clinic. They took my cat in when he was first getting his boosters and again for a really bad upper resp. infection. They were super friendly and also worked around my student budget. I have two guinea pigs and they also helped me treat for mites and researched the steps and dosages to go out of their way to help. Awesome vet clinic and I am going to stick with them as long as I'm in Toronto.

I had a really good experience with Dr. Gail who offered her professional advice irrespective of whether it involved a product that the clinic sells, which was very much appreciated. Second time I was there, Dr. G. was no longer at that clinic and the staff was trying to make me feel like I am going to kill my dog if I give him glucosamine+chondroitin that I did not purchase specifically from them...theirs is "formulated" better and costs more of course, and it doesn't even have chondroitin. A little bit of diplomacy would have gone a long way. I'm looking for another vet in the area, one that does not guilt trip me into feeling like a horrible pet owner if I'm looking at all options and alternative ways of feeding and treating my pet.

I bring both of my cats to this clinic, the Doctors are caring and the staff is very sympathetic. If I had to criticize one thing it is that they deal with the Veterinary Emergency Hospital in Oakville. (I will post my opinion for this hospital in the appropriate place.)

We've taken our two adult cats to this clinic for their regular check-up and booster shots, plus been back several times for one cat's recurring skin issues. The clinic is inviting, clean and well-equipped; the reception staff is friendly and helpful; and our appointments have always started within ten minutes of the scheduled time. Both of the vets who saw our cats were confident and careful with the animals, willing to take their time and answer our questions, and happy to listen to our thoughts on treatment options. I didn't do any comparison shopping so there may be cheaper options available, but I feel like what we paid was well worth the care our pets have received.
