Been coming here for over 14 years. Unfortunately, it was time to say goodbye to my best pal and loyal gatekeeper Bulldog , Rosco. It’s a testament to the care he received over the years from the staff at Doncaster, that an English Bulkdog lived almost 15 years, truly remarkable. Although many staff changes happened over the years, overall, the “Team” at Doncaster is what contributed to the overall good experiences I’ve had there. Many thanks to Dr. Chan and especially his assistants during the euthanasia process, from the moment I walked in carrying my buddy, until it was finished, it was a sincere, sympathetic and especially heartwarming experience. Don’t worry about these older, seemingly revenge reviews on here, it’s what’s happening now , is what truly counts.

Doncaster Animal Clinic is the absolute best especially because of Dr. Danielle Day! Dr. Day is the most amazing Vet I have ever been to. The entire staff is so friendly and I would highly recommend anyone to take their pets there. Dr. Day is so knowledgeable and caring and really goes above and beyond to make sure my dog always has the best care and treatment. My dog loves her and she makes him feel very at ease. She always takes the time to ensure that he is well looked after and explains everything so easily to me. Anytime my dog has an appointment, a staff member always calls the next day to make sure everything is okay with him...even when he gets a nail trim! I uphold Dr. Day with the highest regards and am so thankful that my dog is getting the best care possible. Thank you so much Dr. Day...love Chico & Tanya!

I have been bringing Moka to DAC from the day we brought her home two years ago. We have been very happy with the way the staff takes care of her when we bring her in. Especially Dr. Day who has a very warm loving and compassionate way of dealing with Moka. She is always nervous when I bring her in, but Dr. Day just knows how to deal with Moka. I would highly recommend DAC to anyone who lives in the area and outside the area. Keep up the amazing work.MOKA SAYS HI!

I have been bringing all of my animals to this clinic for many years and have seen a lot of changes in staff during that time. I am confident that when I travel 45 minutes (or more) to bring my pets there that they will be in the very best of care. I have found that Dr. Day is a very caring, patient, professional, intuitive and knowledgeable vet and I strongly recommend her and the clinic! Not only does she spend long periods of time with the animals when necessary, she also generously spends the same amount of time with me afterwards to explain the situation and discuss treatment. She has never suggested expensive, possibly unnecessary treatments and in fact preferred to try simpler methods/procedures to see how things would progress first. I have tried a few other clinics when I originally moved from the Thornhill area but after several bad experiences I had with those places I returned to Doncaster and will not trust my animals' well-being anywhere else now!

Thanks once again to Dr Day and the entire staff for being the best veterinarian clinic around. I drive 40 minutes to come here. I would never trust anyone else with my 3 dogs. The knowledge and love Dr day has for animals is priceless and I recommend anyone who has a pet to come here. The technicians and everyone here is just so helpful. If it wasn’t for all of you I don’t know what I would do. Thanks so much. Love Bryer, Cali & Lita xx

I absolutely love Doncaster. This Vet is the best Vet that i have been to. I say this because they do not force medical assessments or medicine that is not 100% needed, they are not pushy when it comes to procedures- they simply give you what your pet needs to have done. The staff, especially Dr. Day is exceptional. Dr Day is such an amazing veterinarian that is committed to the over all well being of my animals and has never failed to make them feel better. All my animals are so excited to come in to see her all the time and all the girls are so welcoming and friendly everytime. I have and will continue to recommend all my friends and family to this practice, and will review on every site how amazing they are.

Dr. Day goes the extra mile to come off as compassionate and sympathetic but all she does is play on your heart strings to drain every dollar out of you. She will give you hugs and sad faces as if she cares. Her prices are almost triple that of the vets in the GTA! I brought my cat (with a urinary blockage) to 4 different vets and each one of them quoted $800-$1000, which included 3 days of hospitalization, anesthetics, and the unblocking procedure. Dr. Day quoted me $2500! I asked if there was anything else I could do and she suggested I could humanely put him down. For those who have been sent to Dr. Day because you were once with Dr. C....find another vet! Dr. C was honest and truly caring. She is not! Beware!

Doncaster Animal Clinic has been our go to destination for fantastic pet care for over the past 5 years. Our family dog has received a warm and friendly reception every time. We have trusted the opinions, information and care from Dr. Day and would highly recommend her and her staff. We also love the new renovations that have freshened the place up.

I took my cat here recently when they combined with her former an animal clinic. She saw Dr. Day who was so friendly and warm ( towards me, my young daughter who was there as well, and most importantly my cat), as were all the staff. Very happy with this clinic and glad to take my cat there!

Worst vet clinic I've ever been to. One of the vet techs always seems condescending towards me when discussing the cost for my dogs blood work and vaccines. The clinic is clean, but it's so old and in desperate need of renovation. I definatly won't be going back, I would never subject my dog to their care.

I have been a client since the clinic opened in the 1970's. Dr Danielle Day has been taking care of my eldest, Maxie for 11 years, adding Rocky and Logan to our family. Dr Day and all the staff at DAC are amazing. They are caring, loving, sympathetic and honest. They go above and beyond to make not only your furbabies comfortable but parents as well. Whether its a call or an appointment, a sneeze or surgery, they treat all the same. Dr Day is superb. I trust her fully. With three babies she is part of my family. And it shows when taking all my furkids to see her. They are happy to go with their tails wagging. Thank you Dr Day for all you do and especially your heart. You and all your staff are simply the best!!

Taking my pets to the Doncaster Animal Clinic was like meeting an additional member to our family. We have recently moved from the USA and were instantly welcomed by staff and by the doctor. All of our questions were addressed in a very kind manner.

This clinic has gone through a lot of changes over the past year but overall I'm happy with changes made. I've had the pleasure of working with Dr Cumberbatch on a few occasions and find him very nice and extremely patient. He gave a very thorough exam and pointed out things about my dog that I didn't even know about before. My dog has a few conditions that I've been dealing with and I always have to recheck his bloodwork but Dr Cumberbatch was kind enough to give me options to break up his testing to make things easier for me.

I was quite annoyed at my last visit. I have been going to DAC for 2 years now. Every time I go, I tell them I need to be on the quick side, as I have 2 very young children. I had Dr.Unger last visit and she took half an hour to do one thing. This time, I requested Dr. Cumberpatch...he was really nice, but pushed for tests on my 13 year old dog. I told him we were strapped for money Then he made me feel like it was my fault for my dog's condition. After an hour appointment, I went to settle up my insane $300 bill, and I had to wait 30 minutes because the receptionist kept picking up the phone!! Customers there in person should be first priority!! My kids were miserable and I still had to walk 20 minutes to get home. We will not be going back...:(

You know a veterinary clinic is on it's way downhill when there is a mass exodus of staff after the good veterinarians all leave. Since Dr. Cumberbatch bought the practice he can't seem to hold on to any of the vets or technicians who made Doncaster what it used to be--a good clinic with an excellent and caring staff.

I have been with this veterinarian clinic for more than 15 years, and used to see Dr. Waisglass; the fabulous care our dogs received then continued with Dr. Beck and then Dr. Gilady--he is a compassionate and caring veterinarian and always had lengthy discussions with us about the best course of action for our dogs, as well as follow up phone calls. We miss him very much (along with Anna one of the vet techs), and are not too happy about all the changes in staff recently, but we feel in very good hands with Dr. Day and will stay with the clinic as long as she is there.

I stopped going to this clinic years ago because Dr. Gilady took over. I needed to buy food recently and was pleasantly surprised to find that he wasn't there anymore. I met Dr. Williams and both her and her staff were very friendly and inviting. Will definitely give them a try. Big improvement, much nicer place now.

sorry to hear that Dr. Gilady is not longer at this clinic. He has been our primary veterinarian for many years and we have nothing but positive experiences to report. he has given us a balanced (cost-benefit) suggestions and we were always most satisfied. he has treated 8 dogs in our family and we will miss him.

Dr Gilady is a great vet. Those who complain about costs should not have a pet or at least get insurance. If your pet is ill and need tests to determine whats wrong, don't blame the vet. Maybe get a better job that will help you pay for the costs involved in pet ownership. If Gilady goes, we go with him!

I can confirm all the negative comments about Dr. Gilady and will bet that the positive ones are a fraud. After being a 20 plus year satisfied client of Dr Landsberg we too left Doncaster for good. Gary you let us down by selling your practice to such a jerk.

I have nothing but positive comments about Doncaster Animal Clinic. My dog Chloe has been a patient here since she was a puppy. We have gone to DAC for everything from annual vaccines to teeth cleaning to more serious conditions. The staff has always been nothing but friendly, well organized, easy to deal with and clearly interested in the well being of their patients. Dr Gilady is OUTSTANDING in the care he provides. He is great with his very detailed explanations of what he is doing, fantastic with his follow through when providing results of blood tests/xrays and is always available when you call in with a question or concern. My dog has suffered with a variety of ailments from ear infections, to urinary tract infections to more serious multiple bouts of pancreatitis. Dr. Gilady always stays in touch, always lets you know what his plan of action is and always provides TOP NOTCH care. You can feel one thousand percent confident trusting this clinic with your "babies".

All of my life I have lived with pets yet never have I received the level of veterinary care as that shown to me by Dr. Day and the staff at Doncaster Animal Clinic. When I first arrived with my puppy a couple years ago I was seen by Dr. Day, who I was told was a recent graduate so right away I felt a little unsure. After leaving the clinic that day I could not have felt more content, pleased or more looked after (and I've been to my fair share of clinics). Since then I have been bringing all of my pets, including 2 cats, to this clinic. Dr. Day is a warm-hearted veterinarian whose only concern to me seems to be the well-being of my pets. She not only explains everything to me in terms that I can understand but also provides me with the best options, for both the pets and myself as the owner. Her tremendous attitude and the professionalism shown to me by the entire staff at Doncaster Animal Clinic will surely keep me as their client.

Dr. Gilady is a cold-hearted, emotionless, money hungry and selfish prick. Eran doesn't care about pets but rather lining his pockets with $$$$$$$$$$$$. He has trained his staff to be just as emotionless which is a shame because the girls working used to be nice and supportive. I would never recommend this vet clinic or Gilady whatsoever. Yes I refuse to call him a doctor because he isn't worthy. The veterinary board should have a good look at his license. I cannot say it enough times, do not, I repeat do not take your pet to this clinic unless you don't care about your pets or having money taken from your pockets unnecessarily.

What a Jerk-If you love your Pet and the money in your wallet then "Dr" E. Gilady is not the Vet you want to visit. Was trying to to stick me with a 2,000 bill for treatment my dog received elsewhere for 400 dollars. Tried to convince me that I am a bad dog owner while attempting to rob me.

A toxic man - Dr. Eran Gilady. Cold hearted and has tried to convince me to feel that I am a bad owner for questioning his unnecessary and expensive recommendations. Search elsewhere, this is not the place for a loved pet.

Took our new puppy for her checkup. The staff was friendly. The vet was good. She asked questions and gave us helpful hints with dealing with our new puppy. They even gave us a starter kit with lots of reading materials in it.

Unfortunately terrible experience; Used to be a longtime customer but ever since Dr. Giladi took over it has become a more negative than positive experience. Dr. Giladi is pushing for tests that may not be necessary and all the other vets at this clinic are doing the same thing. Worst part is that they make you feel bad and incompetent to the point where they are actually quite rude. Also their prices are much more expensive than all the other vet clinics. What used to be a caring and comfortable place became a stressful unpleasant environment.

This use to be a good clinic when Dr Landsberg was there. Dr Gilady is too trigger happy with expensive lab test everytime you walk in there, and he doesn't seems to connect to the animal like Dr Landsberg. And I have tried the other two vets, both operate pretty much on the same premise, smile gone from their face as soon as you tell them you do not want to do the full blood profile every single year for my 5 year old dog. I would not mind the cost that much if they have show a little more care and interest for my dog.

Very poor experience with this clinic after many years of being a client. Our cat became very ill with a package of food sold to us by the clinic, and we spent a lot of money to get our feline better. No admission on the clinic's part, and we had to fight to have the cost of the contaminated food reimbursed! Ended a very long- standing relationship on the spot.
