Click to report rating    5/22/22   1     1     1     1   I was VERY WRONG, thinking Dr. Wood was the best. When my 18yr old cat was in severe distress & pain : I spoke directly with Dr. Wood on the phone… he said the clinic was closing for the day & to bring her in the following day. They sent me 20km to the Langley emergency clinic they recommend. THEY would not allow me to go in with my pet!! (*April 2022) Luckily, I had noticed a vet clinic up the street. Lost my sweet girl that day, which was to be expected. But, NEITHER one of us deserved the stress prior. Dr. Wood will not go the extra mile for your pet. RID: 70337
Click to report rating    5/7/17   5     5     5     5   I have been taking my pooch here for a little over a year. He has always seen Dr.Wood and I have nothing but amazing things to say about him. He has always gone above and beyond for my dog and takes the time to personally explain exactly what is happening with him, reasons why and go through our options, logically, and honestly, as if it were his own dogs. Im honestly not sure who gets more excited to see the other, him or Cooper! Generally just very thankful to have a vet that clearly adores dogs! RID: 63567

Click to report rating    10/29/13   1     3     3     1   I called this vet to find out how much to get shots for my cat. Was told the shot would be $16 but the cost of the visit would be over $60. No other vets I've dealt with has ever charged me that much just for shots and when asked to clarify why it was so much I was told that it's a large hospital with a large staff, which is true but I still do no feel it justifies a $60 charge for a $16 shot.  3/15/13   5     5     4     4   I have been seeing Dr Kennedy here for a little while and have always been impressed. The care and concern she gave my cat when he was ill was amazing. She was also great with me when my boy was diagnosed with heart failure and I was emotional. She now treats my new kitten and ha sbeen great with him as well. Kudos to the front desk staff as well - they're always sweet and helpful when I have been in. This clinic is pricey, but it is worth it. RID: 41102
Click to report rating    1/25/13   5     5     5     5   Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable. I appreciate the hardwork and extra mile everyone has taken to help me with my dog and any questions i have had. RID: 39930
6/30/11   1     3     4     1   Beware! Looks can be VERY, VERY deceiving! They are NOT worthy of AAHA Accreditation. The techs are brutal and the staff can be snappy and rude. The only decent veterinarian there is Dr. Wood. I took my cats in for a urinary collection and a blood panel. Dr. Ross was angry that I wanted my cats to pee normally and not have needles stuck in their bladders. No $$'s for him! When trying to get a blood sample from my 15 year old semi-toothless cat I was told that it took "two techs to hold her down". They tried her neck area and both legs. She hissed and screamed at them. She is severely arthritic in her hind area. Now she is bruised and I believe her rib is cracked. I told them to call me (I live 5 min away) if there was any trouble with her but they ignored me and terrorized her. Dr. Ross' explaination of her ordeal was insulting, scary & filled with very poor excuses. It's been 24 hours and she can't walk, won;t eat and will not let me near her. GO TO HELL DR ROSS AND INCOMPETENT TECHS!! RID: 25921
Click to report rating    10/13/10   5     5     4     4   The staff here is so amazing that my cat purs when she gets to go to the vet! Even thought she doesnt like whats being done to her, they are very sweet and nice to her and give her treats. They always spend extra time with me and both my cat and wont hesitate to cram me in if I am having an issue. They dont roll their eyes when I come in for something silly and if my pet has to come back I only get charged for the first consoltation, the rest after for teh same set of issues are free. I think they are amazing here I highly recomend them and have been going to them for 10 plus years! RID: 20270
Click to report rating    1/26/09   1     3     2     2   I left this vet years ago because I felt very patronized by the vet. I am an educated person, in my field, and just because I am not a vet does not mean I have the capacity to understand a complex thought. Very much had the impression that they want you in and out.
