Worst experience I've ever had with a vet. Took our Great Dane in to get neutered. Had a pre-op appointment that allowed them to get his weight, and blood work. They then drew up a quote for $440 for the surgery and pain medication. This quote was based on the information they gathered.
We returned 2 days later for the surgery. Our dog ate his last meal the night before at 6pm, and was without water from 10pm. He had nothing else in his system. Apparently, just after we left the office from dropping him off, he threw up. He proceeded to throw up 4-5 times at the office, pre and post surgery. The vet did not think it important to call me and inform me of this. They called me 2 hours early to pick him up, as he was whining. When I paid the bill, it was now $520- as they said with bigger dogs, they need to administer more pain medication- what was the pre-op appointment for then? That I paid $100 for?

I have been taking my cats to Dr. Chin since the clinic opened.He and his staff have always been there for us whether it be for regular check ups or a emergency. They are all very caring, and would highly recommend them.

Dr. Chin & his staff are the best vet clinic in London. I have been a client since they first opened & would not take my dogs anywhere else. Dr. Chin is the most thorough, detailed vet & he sincerely cares about my dogs. He has never rushed me during our appointments (I ask a lot of questions!) & he takes the time to listen to me and fully explain things to me.

Dr.Chin and staff are friendly, professional, yet personable. They're really care for your per as if they were their own.

Highbury North Pet Hospital has amazing staff, I've never met a veterinarian who cared more about pets than him. He truly does want the best for your pet and gives options. He has chosen some really good girls to work for him as well. They are knowledgeable and friendly. My dog and I are always happy to go in for a check-up
