On 10-01-12, my indoor cat which was young (only two and half years old) and very healthy was brought to this facility for a routine vet procedure to remove his rear claws. The cat previously was brought to this facility to remove front claws and be neutered without incident under the care of an expert and very seasoned doctor who has since retired. On 10-01-2012, my cat was under the care and supervision of a vet named Thomas F. Martin Jr, whose office called later that day to inform my family that the cat had DIED. In the phone call, a staff member at the center stated the cat probably had an allergic reaction to the anthestia, which is utterly ridiculous since the cat had two previous surgeries with no allergies to the same anesthesia.
In sum, this place killed my beloved cat which was only 2.5 years old and very healthy for a routine procedure. On 10-2-12, I filed a complaint with the TSBVME to review this incident, which in my opionion was gross incompetence at the center.
