Dr. Ford has been our vet for several years. He has always been very caring and easy to reach anytime we had a problem.

This Dr spayed my Maine Coon cat & when I politely asked why he gave us an antibiotic to give her, he said it was his protocol to avoid potential problems. My cat is an indoor only pet. He said there was no sign of infection but still wanted her to take the Amoxicillin. I said I would respect his instructions. Two days later I received a certified letter from his attorney telling me that my relationship with Dr Ford was terminated & I was "forbidden" to contact the clinic. This kept me from bringing my cat back in 10 days to have her stitches removed. He was paid $92 for spaying which included removal of the sutures. I had to have them removed at my expense by someone else! Is this vet so insecure that he doesn't want anyone to ask him a reasonable question? He then fires a client without any communication or explanation? I am filing a complaint with the ASBVME. My breeder has since warned me about this vet saying they would never use him. In my opinion, Dr Ford is not a good vet!
