Monday morning my son found our pug on his back unable to get up. We got him up and he could not stand at all. After going to our regular vet,we were told we needed to take him to a "specialist" for an xray that is was probably disc problem. Over $300 later,we were told he had ear infections that were causing him to be wobbly and xray looked fine and sent us home with antibiotics. The next day our vet called to see how he was. I told him we took him in and what happened. He said he hadnt got reports yet,and would call me back. When he called back he said he saw fusion on xray and prognosis was not good. So a "specialist" wasnt able to see it on xray but regular vet was. The "specialist" also gave us false hope he would be ok,and he actually suffered another day because we did not know extent of it. We were faced with a very tough decision to let him go,so tuesday night we told the kids,and everyone camped out on living room floor surounding him with love. Wednesday morning we took him
