Go to stcatharinesanimalhospital.com to read about how veterinarian Bassem Boctor and his st Catharines Animal Hospital misdiagnosed our dog, and would not wait 25 minutes to get paid to tend to her medical emergency needs. This is the classic tale of greed and selfishness and not about supposed veterinarian Bassem Boctor on his St Catharines Animal Hospital concern for people's pets.

Are used to be a good clinic until they expanded and took on too many customers. It’s hard to get an fast appointment anymore. They used to be open on the weekends but not anymore so they’re backlogged all the time. They also charge for re-exams. Dr. Boctor it’s never there To see your dog. You always get to see Dr. Sam or some unknown Vet. Used to be a great Vet office when they were small, but like all other vets they get too big and too many customers and not enough Vets.

Very good vets with reasonable prices though I’m not crazy about the new $15 re-exam fee.

Dr. Boctor and the team at St. Catharines Animal hospital are wonderful. They are knowledgeable and concerned whenever we come in. The care is top notch without costing a fortune. Since we moved it's an hour to get there but it's worth the drive.

My first visit to this clinic was 3 years ago to rush my very sick cat in. They took her in right away and started oxygen to help her breath. Dr. Boctor was off but his staff called him to say that they thought my cat was dying. He rushed in on his day off and saved my cats life. He brought me to the back to show me all the blood and puss they were draining from my cat. She stayed at the clinic for a few days and was so well taken care of. She is on heart medication now and is healthy and happy...thanks to Dr. Boctor and his staff. He has also taken great care of one of my dogs and my other cat. The staff has always been friendly, compassionate and helpful. Dr. Boctor really seems to care about animals and is always kind, gentle and compassionate. He also explains everything in detail and always shows you all your pet's results. I can't say enough good things about this clinic and I'm so happy they were recommended to me.

If you have money, you will love this place! You would not look at my sick cat until I placed a $1,000 in his hand! He thought my cat swallowed something so he opened him up but found nothing. My cat died there suffering terribly with no diagnosis or explanation. I did get a $1,700 bill though. If you are planning on euthanizing a pet, make sure he gives them a sedative first! He did not do that so my cat died in fear and pain.

Dr. Boctor is an amazing, compassionate, dedicated vet!!! My dog Kiki was having a teeth cleaning and since he's a senior x-rays were done. Dr. Boctor found a big stone in his bladder! Emergency surgery was done and this doctor basically saved Kiki's life!!
I've been taking my dogs every year for a wellness visit and no Toronto Vet ever found it before!
The staff and other doctors are terrific as well! They are warm and helpful and they keep this hospital very clean which is very important. The prices charged here are extremely reasonable and are basically 1/2 of what I was paying before.
I cannot begin to tell you what peace of mind this place gives me. I have 3 pets and am soon getting a 3rd dog. I rest easy knowing Dr. Boctor will be their doctor and I know they are in the BEST of hands! You will not go wrong putting your fur-babies under Dr. Boctors' care. He truly is a wonderful Vet!! He truly loves the animals under his care. In all the years I've encountered vets, he i

Overall a great hospital, very low cost and most of the staff are very welcoming and kind. Honestly I had a bit of a bad experience speaking to one of the receptionists named Heather, she was pretty rude and kept cutting me off when I was trying to explain my situation. Even after this I still booked an appointment and I am glad I did because I had a great experience with the other staff there. They took the time to fully look over my little guy and were all falling in love with him just as much as I am. I do plan on switching over to this wonderful new vet named Dr. Boctor because one lousy staff member isn't going to deter me from the best health care my Max has received in awhile.

We recently moved to Saint Catharines and were looking for a new vet for our three pets. I made the mistake of choosing the Glenridge Animal Hospital and we paid for a full check up for all three pets ($109 each). My cat had what I thought was small cut on her neck and we pointed this out to the Vet in the exam. She said that it looked fine and to just keep an eye on it. She did not mention any other issues with my cat Sophia.
The next day we took Sophia to the groomers as she is a rag doll and she had some clumps I wanted removed. They told me they could not groom her because of the cut on her neck. They looked at it closely and she said it looked deep and might actually need some stitches. I immediately took Sophia to a vet they highly recommended. (St. Catharines Animal Hospital's Dr. Boctor)
Turns out the cut actually did need stitches which he was able to do the same day! He also found extensive tartar and a gum infection which was not even mentioned by the doctor at Glenridge.

there very good there they always give us news when ever we need it for our cats. dr boctor is very nice he knows we are on o.d.s.p he let our cat stay for free for 3 weeks so he can recover due to his paw, dr boctor is also nice because he gave us a call to let us know how our cat was doing it is not every day a vet doctor does such a thing like dr boctor did. Dr boctor is a very nice doctor i hope he does not retire soon my 4 cats are lucky to have him as a doctor.

Front desk staff are friendly. The vet is not very knowledgeable and got me to do unnecessary tests on my healthy pet. They do not have reasonable prices. I was shocked at their charges and sadly, I was fooled into paying for unnecessary tests. Very disappointed. I would never recommend this place and will never return.

Every one is so friendly and they treated my 2 dogs with so much care. I never really went to vet clinics before because I didn't know what my dogs needed. Dr. Boctor and his team let me know what my dogs need to be healthy and happy for a long life.

There is a reason why Lincoln County Humane Society go to St. Catharines Animal Hospital when animals in distress are found. The staff here are friendly, incredibly knowledgable, and they really care for the well-being of animals. The pricing at this clinic is very fair, considering the care and love you and your pet receive is priceless! It was the weekend before my wedding when my wife had to take our dog in for an allergy flare up and the entire staff greeted my wife and dog at the door - congratulating us on our upcoming wedding. What staff, anywhere, does that?! Incredible. Dr. .Boctor and Dr. Aziz know their stuff! Definitely the best vets we have met and we respect them alot. Dr. Bob is very gentle and helpful, and can make anyone smile (even when going through a tough time with their animal). Thank you to the staff at St. Catharines Animal Hospital. There is no other vet care that could ever come close to exceeding your abilities in care, service, cost, and compassion!

We actually switched from our regular vets, who were very caring, efficient and knowledgeable, to this practice. Dr.Boctor and his assistants are quiet, efficient and very very empathetic. He went out of his way to make sure that our darling boy's end-of-life care was pain-free and as stress free as possible. since then he and his staff have attended to our other pets in an incredible manner. I love the fact that this practice is clean, spacious, timely and quiet. That is actually why we switched - the other practice was a victim of its own success - too crowded and unbelievably long delays. Love Dr. Boctor!

I did find a vet. named Dr. Boctor (yes it is spelled correctly),he saved me $1,000.00. His secretary is awesome!! She calls your vet to have all files sent over to them. The xray and urinalysis would have cost me even more at my original vet – so with the $1,000.00 savings I also got more care. Dr. Boctor wanted to meet the babies before the surgery so we spent 1 hour and 10 min’s. with him the sat. before going over everything at NO CHARGE. He has a beautiful cat in his office that he rescued – she was found pregnant with 4 arrows through her. Little did I know he was the Dr. that took her in and cared for her – she is now the office’s cat and beautiful – no signs of injury. So this Dr. is incredible, he cares, he comes to your home if need be (mainly for the elderly) and he will euthenize at your home when the time comes for your baby to move on to heaven. He is excellent, caring, loving and animals are his babies too!!! The staff is the same.

Dr.Boctor is a very quiet man but he cares about your pet. The office is very clean. In the morning and afternoon he does house calls. His office opens at 4 PM His office visit prices are much cheaper than most vets in St. Catharines. Recommended if you don't want to pay too much like other vets clinics in this city!

I first met Dr.Boctor when I had a rescue dog a little Pom, who was very sick. He was amazing in guiding my family as we had to say goodbye to our pet. He was very professional and sympathetic to our needs and feelings. Since then he has help us out greatly with our new dogs and some aging cats. I highly recommend Dr. Boctor and his staff. They even make house calls, email or call back so promptly. You can feel they love your pets just as much as you do!

My Female Dog was very sick and needed an operation. She was fatally misdiagnosed numerous times. I incurred $3000 for surgery and a later misdiagnosis, as well as staples left inside of her. Because of Dr.Boctor's lack of knowledge/skill I lost my Dane from and E-coli infection in her Uterus called Pyometra. We got the vet to see her at home numerous times (house call Vet) and spent hundreds in useless medication. The first diagnosis was for Arthritis, but she was only 1 and a half years old and very "well" taken care of; next diagnosis was said to be a hurt muscle, or possibly something she ate. Because of this she was put through a lot of un-needed pain and suffering. I was thinking of suing for an after hours Vet had told us that Dr. Boctor was not even a member of the Vet. Board. I had to pay even more at the after hours clinic because of the referral I had from Boctor. Unless your wanting to put your animal down at home, this is not an appropriate Vet to seek medical help from.
