Our Golden Doodle has been with the clinic for about 10 years. I have found all the staff from the doctors, technicians and front desk very thorough and caring. I'm aways given the costs up-front for extra tests & procedures, so there's never any surprises with billing. As our dog grows older there's been last-minute appointments and drop-ins just before closing and the've been very accommodating.

I have been here a few times and I can say it all depends on who you get. The first time I went vet was honest gave me a cost break down and said these are the treatments I recommend these we can hold off on. Second vet ran a bunch of tests I did not agree to, then argued with me about the symptoms my pet was having. I said she had an normal appetite he told me that was impossible she needed an appetite stimulant. Don't intend to go back any time soon.

After an emergency operation with an extremely positive prognosis from the Doctor and an additional precautionary Doctor recommended night stay, my pet died during the night within 24 hours of its discharge. I had followed all post-op instructions from the Doctor to the letter in spite of their vagueness. I subsequently received no satisfactory sympathy nor explanation. I would have appreciated at least a slight reduction on the $3500 charge but the Doctor would not even consider it when I inquired. I hope no one else has to endure such a sad series of events.

We ordered private cremation for our cat in this clinic. However we did not get her urn with ashes. After several calls they sent us email about refund without explanation what they did with her body.

Exceptional compared to my experience with other vets. The reception staff are very kind!

Inconsiderate of my cat's situation, left him waiting for 4hours while knowing he gets very stressed at the vet and has diabetes so his blood sugar was going up. This was unnecessary as they could have just told us so we would take him back later if they could not get to him (and they should have known this would happen as they had only one vet tech and a surgery running at the same time). Went to complain, the vet said "I'm the doctor I know better", they were rude and one desk lady said we were "horrible", slammed the card machine on the table telling us to pay the bill since we refused saying we needed to talk to the manager. Very unhelpful to my cat, he's had unregulated BG for over a year and they know this but didn't suggest anything to help, except when I went and asked about a supplement I found online. Prices are ridiculous and constantly go up. Would use full anesthesia on him for groomings and never told us of the option to sedate him and have him stay awake (clearly safer)

I have moved several times, so I have taken my pets to many different vets in different cities. March Road Veterinary Hospital has without a doubt been my favourite. I have seen two vets at this clinic and both were good. Dr. Ghasemi, especially, was very thorough and explained everything to me. The clinic also called to follow-up and took the time to talk about my dog, instead of rushing the phone call, which I really appreciated. I will definitely continue to take my animals to this clinic.

Having viewed all of the previous comments I felt it necessary to add mine. Over the past 10 years I have taken my 4 cats and 1 dog to the March Rd. Vet. I have never encountered any issues toward the treatment of my pets or myself. All staff, particularly Dr. Ghasami, are very professional and friendly. I always have received a call the day after any procedure that they required to see how they were doing. As well, on the 2 times that I lost a cat due to age/illness they treated me with the upmost compassion. Remember, we are the voice of our pets. As you do with your own doctor, you have the right to question the veterinarian whether the tests/treatments they recommend are really necessary. I highly recommend this veterinary.

I have been going to the Dunrobin Clinic/March Road Veterinary Hospital with three dogs for over 10 years, and yes I have seen the prices increase but the price of everything has increased. The service has always been good and the staff are caring. They have always been open to a little flexibility in their fees, one just has to ask. In response to a comment made above, I have never witnessed the reception staff contradicting anything regarding price and I have had the occasional free-bee from Dr. O. Yes there are cheaper Vets in the surrounding area, but there are also Vets that are much more expensive and I have been to them on occasion. Overall, Dr. O and his team provide a good service.

Both my dogs are patients at this clinic and I have never been disappointed. All the staff are friendly, knowledgable, and compassionate. Everything is explained thoroughly and prices are fair. Most importantly, everyone treats my fur babies like family.

Total indifference to the welfare of the pet. Only concerned about charging as much money as possible for services. Received no follow up call at regarding the health of my pet. It maybe cliche to say that veterinarian services are only in it for the money and of course they have expenses they have to pay, but in the case of March Road Veterinary Hospital, the adjective is 100% applicable. Do not take your pet to this facility if you care about its welfare.

Staff made me feel like I was an inconvenience. They used to be our regular vet. I asked to have my dog's knee x-rayed ahead of a specialist appointment I had with an orthopaedic surgeon. Once the vet heard I was definitely going to the specialist (outside his clinic) he seemed hostile/impatient. They took the xray. When the orthopaedic surgeon and a different specialist saw the xray, I was told it was incorrectly taken and they would have to do another. March Road clinic: money grabbers and rude. I won't go back. Also, my dog that loves everyone (including her new vet) really really really hated one of the vets here. I always wondered why.

If you care about your pet- DON'T go here- their main motivation is MONEY. Unable to diagnose the problem but just keep taking your $$ for more tests. The reception staff was always polite and efficient- no complaints with them.

Great service! I was very happy with the quality of care given to Jake. He is the first dog I've owned that actually likes going to the vet :)

I brought my dog for a very bad skin allergy. The vet said that before any treatment, they had to do some tests. They did plenty of very expensive tests (even some that I didn't ask for), it all came back negative.I told them it was just eczema but they didn't want to hear anything. They tried to make me pay for new food when they could have given me a cream instead. I left with a shampoo and a tooth removed and it costs me 1200 dollars. The next day, my dog was bleeding, her skin was getting worse with the shampoo. I called them and all they said that we should change food. I went to my local pharmacist and I bought and Eczema cream for human, I put it on and my dog got treated. Don't go there, it's a rip off!!
