Pros:Dr. Nigel Gumley is the best diagnostician in Ottawa area. If your pet has some problem nobody can figure out, he's the one to go to. Also clinic has full blood work suite on-site so they can give you results in hours. Cons: Rest of the staff are nincompoops. One of the doctors prescribed my cat 5x of max allowed dosage of antibiotic. Luckily I caught it before the cat went down hard. Don't recommend to deal with anyone except Dr. Gumley.

I brought my kitty Karma in for her yearly chec?up, rabies vaccine, and spa treatment last week (she is a long hair and her hair needed shaving, and for that she has to be anesthetized). She can be a tough character, but Tracy gathered her up warmly, lily did her cat whisperer mojo, and Dr. Bell finished off with his soft manner and compassionate handling. Karma came away calm, clean and well cared for. I can't say enough about how great the staff is, how they met my expectations including timewise, and what a comfortable spot this was to wait and share with other pet families. All things told- yes - ìt was an expensive visit; veterinary care is expensive, and our furry friends are worth it! Thank you Cedarview Animal Hospital!

Been to this vet a few times. The staff are great, the vet we saw not so much. Each time it feels like they are trying to sell more and more (so you don't actually know what is needed and what they are pushing). I brought my dog in after a minor accident and she started off with "worst case scenario" when everything ended up being no issue at all. Will be going somewhere else

I've been to a few vet clinics in Ottawa and this is the best. Staff are fabulous and warm and seem to genuinely care about my dogs. Vets seem good too. Gumley is especially talented in diagnosis joint issues (what both our dogs suffer from). Their rehab services are a life changer for our dogs. Thank you!

Overall Impressive - Love how all of the Vets at this practice take care of my dogs, they are very conscientious & caring. The Reception Staff are wonderful as well. I find the clinic expensive, but probably no more so than any other clinic in Ottawa...NT

This clinic cares less about the animals and more about the bottom dollar. Constantly trying to sell more and more. Will avoid this clinic in the future.

I really like this Hospital - however I spent a lot of money there and I felt ripped off when they charged me $12 to write a 3 second prescription or if they called it in. I found that unnecessary when you given them thousands. It shouldn't even matter how much you give them. It's a cost that doesn't need to be passed on. Other than that it's a great clinic.

We had experienced unsatisfactory service from another veterinarian in the area and so it was with some relief to find that the staff and service at Cedarview were as good as they were. We bring our older dog and young cat there for all of our veterinary needs and have been very pleased with the results. The staff are courteous, professional, and very, very good with our pets. I'm also impressed by their outreach through social media as the hospital works very diligently to inform not only their clients but also the general public as well. Best vets we've ever been to, bar none. Would highly recommend them to anyone seeking veterinary services.

The most skilled vets that I have every dealt with and I have dealt with many. Always current on what's going on in the world of pet medicine. All of the staff are caring and personable. I always feel that each one is giving us individual, focused attention, no matter how busy they are.

This is the best clinic I have had any of my pets visit. The staff is very warm and inviting. They get to know your pet and go out of their way to make your pet feel comfortable. The prices are on par or less then regular clinics and much less then 24 hour clinics. All the Vets are careful and patient with your pet. They are amazing at keeping your pet calm (at least mine who gets stressed easily). I cannot say enough good things about Cedarview!

Warm and professional staff. My dogs love going there. Every aspect of treatment is explained. Follow-up calls to check on animal. Online pet records. Monthly newsletter. Staff is active in the community. Good listeners.
