If you would like to have your cat murdered, then Dr Katz is perfect. I brought my perfectly healthy 6 year old cat to board at Aristokatz for a few days while I was away. He hates being boarded but I figured it would be ok because she is a “cat expert.” Dr. Katz was supposed to give him a check-up as well as his vaccinations, however she claimed she couldn’t get near him because he was too anxious. As a vet who specializes in cats, she should know how to deal with anxious cats. Dr. Katz also called to tell me while I was away that he had a weird cough, asked me if that’s normal (like I’m a vet), but didn’t further examine him. When I picked my cat up, he was not himself. He was drooling and acting aggressive. We thought he was traumatized by being boarded so we were going to give him the day to adjust to being back home and take him back to a vet the next day if he was still acting off. I have been using Aristokatz since July 2012 after another local vet pretty much gave my cat a death sentence. After a thorough examination, diet change and maintenance medications, my beloved kitty cat lived 3 1/2 more years. Dr. Katz and Emilie are wonderful and compassionate people who LOVE cats. Dr. Katz is available and approachable - no question is stupid. I recently got a new kitty cat and have already had his first visit to Aristokatz. Top notch...does not get any better than this.

I initially found Dr Katz when my beloved kitty needed help going to heaven peacefully. I found her compassion and expertise worth every penny for both my cat and for me. I have every confidence in Dr Katz and her staff. She's now my vet for my new cats and again, worth every penny. And if I need her to come to come the house, I know that's an option.

I have had a good experience with this vet and the services rendered. Changing diet for my cat made a world of difference. I always have questions answered in a timely fashion either by email or voice. They even do house calls which are fantastic. Unfortunately, if you have an animal, you need to keep the costs of doc visits, etc. in mind. You can't dislike a doctor for trying to make a living, too.

I couldn't pay the entire bill for my cat's visit. Akistokats agreed to take $155 for the visit and $50 on the 3rd of October and $118 on the 3rd of November. The withdrawal on the 3rd of October was fine, but on the 3rd of November an unauthorized withdrawal was made on my debit card of $178, putting my checking account into a negative balance and I had to pay a service charge of $36. Be careful of the office manager at this office. She lies to try to justify her actions. (She said she called and left a message, but I didn't respond so she went ahead with the transaction. She NEVER called me!!! To make matters worse, my cat died and I paid for his cremation and then my other cat died one week later and when I spoke to the Vet, she told me to bring the 2nd cat over and he could stay in her freezer until I could call with authorization to debit my account for his cremation. (I don't have a lot of money and I never pretended I did). This office manager, Emilee, is a greedy liar.
