great place. also has groomers and little shop section. clean building & great staff. i had everything thoroughly explained to me. lots of info I was corrected on. no hesitation to go back

I am on disability, and I had to take my golden retriever in, as he fell ill almost over night and was not getting better. I called them and they had me in the same day. They were the most friendliest, kindest people ever. They truly went above and beyond the call of duty. Not only did they help me with funding, he had to have surgery, and one of the techs even took him home with her so he was not left alone over night, as it would have cost more to have him put in a 24 hour care hospital. If you need a vet Mackay is the one to go to.

I have lived and visited Vet facilities in three provinces and four different pets. I truly am impressed! They follow up and if you raise a new question they follow up on the follow up! They care and take the time it needs to truly care! Yes, I may have (not sure) spent more for the same services... but with the care we have received I don't feel the need to dig up old records and compare.

They truly care about the animals but can sometimes be a bit pricey. They are excellent when you have an animal with special needs or extreme conditions. Great follow-up.
