We have been bringing our animals here since 2003. Dr. Pettifor is an amazing doctor and person. My dogs love going to see her. She is well trained with exotics. She always give you the straight forward answer and her thoughts on whether it needs to be done. Prices are very fair. She has a lot of compassion for what she does. The staff is always welcoming and friendly.

I have had many beloved cats over the years and have had to, unfortunately, have three of them put down over time. No matter which vet I have had an appointment with, they are all wonderful, taking the time to explain things thoroughly and you never feel rushed. When each of my cats "went to heaven" I was made to feel that I could take as long as I needed to say good-bye and their compassion and gentle approach was beyond words. The staff are always very nice and even if they are very busy, they are calm and willing to help and listen. To me, this is the VERY BEST veterinary clinic in Edmonton.

I have been taking my small dog to this clinic for many years and have been very satisfied with the service.Recently I had to have my dog put down and was impressed with the compassion shown to me. The staff are very friendly and professional.

We have been going to Dr. Museums for 12 years and will not take our dogs anywhere else! When our first dog (that she had treated since birth) had to be put down she was so professional and caring- even emotional afterwards herself (he was an amazing dog anyways but just shows how much she cares for her patients). Have also heard nothing but praise for Dr. Pettyfor from our friends with small animals- we moved out of the city but still drive back to this clinic! Cannot rate highly enough!

They just moved into a new unit in the same strip mall, and the new location is fantastic! Our dog was diagnosed with diabetes last April and was almost killed by another vet, so we decided to change to these guys. Dr. Pettifor is excellent and very easy to deal with. Every time i have a question, and can't make it in to see them before they close, i can speak to one of the doctors and get answers right over the phone. I find they are extremely informative and make it easy for the owners to understand what it is that's happening to their pet. I would recommend them to anyone who may have had a bad experience with another vet.

They are simply the best. They treat our dogs and when my elderly cat passed away they helped me through the process of having his remains cremated. They never treated or even saw my cat before this and their kindness and actions will always stick in my heart. From the sympathy card, to the poem with the paw print that arrived unannounced/unexpectedly they are truly wonderful professionals.

We've been seeing Dr. Muzyka "Barb" for almost 17 years. I can't imagine seeing anyone else. Her care, attention and patience is well above and beyond anything you could ask for in a vet. My whole family takes their pets to her and I've sent countless friends to her. She doesn't upcharge, she explains everything to you, follow up visits are included in original price and SHE OFTEN asks for follow up!. She LISTENS to you even if your concerns have little importance about current actual care (ie: Knowing our families previous history with a dog who had cancer - when I have concerns about my current dog and certain behaviours when it comes to his health (I'm petrified of Cancer) she listens and eases my thoughts.) My little D trusts her and so do I. We won't go to anyone else. It can be tough to get in to see her sometimes but we understand - she's only one person and super popular! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Best vet clinic ever. Dr. Muzyka is the best most caring vet. As well as dr. Pettifor and all the staff. No one is just a client or a paycheque. They Really Care! They know their clients. When you phone in they remember you. They go above and beyond to make every experience the best possible, whether is a simple checkup or a crisis..

I have been going here for over 13 years, and would not change. It is a family to me. Dr. Muzyka is truley there for you and your pet, and not money. She loves and treats my dogs like they where her own. My dog has gone to the emergancy for an illergic reaction and it has cost me over $500 ($150 just to see them). I have also taken them to ottewell for the same reaction and it's only cost me $30 for the shot. I would never take my dogs any where else!!!

I have been dealing with Ottwell Animal Clinic for quite a while- when my cat was extremely sick, the staff made sure I got him in right away. Dr. Muzyka gave the best advice and options- he was extremely sick and I did not know it. After long discussions Meeko had to be put down and I did get to spend time with him plus the service that I received after - a sympathy card with his paw print and the fact that the price for examinations, medications is reasonable. I now have another cat and continue doing business with the Clinic.

Absolutely terrible experience here 3yrs ago. Had a lethargic cat and called for an appointment, Best they could do was week away. Brought her in and they determined she was now severely dehydrated. They put her on an IV overnight - unmonitored. She died the next morning. Absolutely terrible experience. AND if that wasn't enough, how about going in to pick up your deceased beloved pet, spending a quiet moment with her, and hearing raucous laughter from the staff room? When I went back some weeks later to discuss the outcome with them, I was told it was essentially all my fault for not bringing her in more often. Dreadful experience.

Excellent care has been provided for our dog. Dr.Muzyka does NOT upcharge. She does not charge us for follow-up appointments. We have been taking our dog to this clinic for the past 4 years and we are fully satisfied.
