Click to report rating    10/8/19   5     5     5     5   I have always found Dr. Fleming and his staff to be receptive and professional. He was very sympathetic when we had to put our older pug down and has been gentle with our traumatised rescue terrier. I would recommend this vet. His prices are also reasonable. RID: 68625
Click to report rating    9/7/16   1     4     4     1   Was visiting area on holidays and wanted to get nails cut. I asked friends who recommended this vet clinic. I was surprised that Dr. Fleming actually did nails. He completely botched a simple task with hitting the quick on several nails. I should have stopped him as I was in room but I was so shocked I could hardly respond. Lots of blood in treatment room, reception, my car and in hotel. I asked what to do if bleeding continued. He suggested flour. I made a written complaint which he didn't respond to. Sent a second complaint enquiring if he received the first. He did but didn't want to fight about it. What??? He said they have material to stop bleeding at clinic but he certainly didn't use it on my dog. My dog didn't yelp so he kept going. What??? Shocking treatment. More shocking was his lack of a response. This guy should be avoided. This is a window into how he treats our pets and responds to complaints. 0 out of 5 for this clinic. AVOID. RID: 61518
Click to report rating    1/22/14   2     4     4     2   Reception was good, veterinarian had TERRIBLE 'bed side manner'. I witnessed him repeatedly tell a gentleman (in the public RECEPTION AREA) in front of other pet owners that he should put fido to rest as he had cysts and was old. He may well have been correct about that, but he was repetitive, loud and seemed to care less about the gentleman's feelings (a fellow in his mid 40's) for his pooch or whether anyone else could hear him. Unprofessional in my opinion. RID: 49401

Click to report rating    1/26/09   2     4     4     4   Liked this vet until our cat was very sick and dying waited through the weekend to see the Dr monday . Couldn't get in until 2pm. Asked if we could get in early- showed up at opening. No -not until 2, can we get an IV put in? Come back at TWO was the reply I said you guys are horrible our cat is dying and you can't even ease her pain. Went to DR. down the road he was in surgery. vet had his assistant start an Iv right away. 700.00 later put cat down- too far gone. RID: 11376
Click to report rating    3/14/08   5     5     5     5   LOVE LOVE LOVE him! Not at first though... when my 8 year old Afghan Hound had collapsed and I called him late one evening. He seemed like he would rather be ANYWHERE than at his office that night. Sat there while I struggled with the door trying to carry a huge, lethargic hound in my arms. Very grumpy and sarcastic, very angry. Having said this - his demeaner softened within minutes and since then he's been wonderful. He kept Ziggy in the hospital for quite a few days - diagnosed liver cancer, and treated him round the clock until the inevitable decision had to be made because the dog just wasn't rallying. Ziggy died that night before we could come in. Dr. Hall was compassionate and gave us the full rundown on everything that was wrong. The total bill did not exceed $400 for the late night call, tests, meds, and hospital stay. We take all our pets to him now. He will always suggest the less expensive way to treat some conditions and doesn't push products. RID: 7721
Click to report rating    2/16/08   2     4     4     5   Inconsistent. Dr Hall does not seem to have "regular" fees. Some prices are "set" (exam, food/supplies, spay/neuter). Maybe guesses the fees for other things like wound repairs, surgeries, etc? Seems to work out cheaper for clients, compared to other vets. Sometimes gives free rechecks. Not consider him a thorough vet. Seems to provide basic recommendations. Low-key approach to treatment. Little preventative therapy. Clients either love him or hate him. Bedside manner is not subtle. RID: 7390
