I took my dogs here for routine matters (flea/tick meds, checkup) and they upsold me on items I did not need (expensive toothbrushes and paste). I returned months later with a very sick dog and they requested $2,000 to run tests. I declined but was sold $350 of ineffective medication (and again upsold on expensive dog food). My pet soon died, I informed them of this and then received an email requesting me to review their service. The message read something to the effect of "your pet's health is our primary concern and we hope to see you and your pet soon." Very cold. This clinic appears to care only about maximizing profit.

Our vet seemed fresh out of school, lacked experience, and recommended a mix of holistic tablets and pain killers to treat our cat’s aggressive, recurring UTIs :| When I declined, she proceeded to push even more bizarre treatment plans. When I raised concerns to management, they doubled down on her non evidence-based approaches. This place cost us a lot of time, money, and stress before we took him to another clinic to get the antibiotics he needed (from a more experienced vet).

Wonderful caring and professional vets. Very compassionate and on top of the technology. I highly recommend Dr. Shepherd in particular, although all staff have been a pleasure to deal with

I have been having our pets seen by Dr Shepherd since they opened their vet clinic in Napanee and we live in Kingston so that shows you how much we appreciate all that everyone does for our pets. When they opened Limestone City here in Kingston it was even better. When our 1st dog had to be put down they were so supportive, caring and discreet in giving us the time we needed so that we could say our goodbyes. Our present dog Razor also is a client because of their care and concern for both the client and the owner. Each and every staff member is AWESOME . Love taking our dog here ! Soon they will be opening a 2nd clinic in Kingston.

Dr Sheppard & Dr Rea are amazing vets. They have made my visit (along with the front staff) so comfortable and reassuring, If I need anything they are there no matter what it is!!!! I would never go anywhere else!
