We took in our 2 year old previously healthy cat who is very ill. She had xrays and lab work and I was told I would get a call in an hour or 2. I is now more than 2 days later, I have spoken to the receptionist 4 times asking for a call on the results. The 4th time I was told it will be another 3 days as the vet who saw the cat won't be back until then. I pointed out that this was not acceptable as the cat may well be dead by then, so SHE HUNG UP ON ME! We are out of medication, which I was also told they would not discuss with me until Monday. I do not know what is wrong with the cat. It is outrageously heartless to HANG UP on me because I made a legitimate request to receive the services I already paid for to try to get an assessment and treatment plan for my cat. Whatever you do, don't trust them with an animal you love

Awesome place to take you pets. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Dr Ramsey is a very funny vet.

Wonderful staff! They were very personable and compassionate. The doctor explained everything to me and answered all of my 100 questions. He was very patient and kind. I love the front office staff! They are the greatest!

I have to disagree with the former poster. My cat was here for a week and the doctors were great. They could not save my cat's life after her mistreatment elsewhere, but it was not their fault. BTW, I would not recommend the Broadway ER. I prefer the Fredericksburg Road Emergency Room. Much more personal and cost efficient.

My worst vet experience ever! The clinic smells of urine and suffering, and that's on better days. Even if they are not busy, you will wait and wait. You will NEVER get an estimate unless you push for one, and even if you do,the total bill WILL be much higher. The very worst, however, is on one occasion when my dog needed emergency care and my check was declined even though I offered to call my bank with their office manager on the line with me to prove I had sufficient funds. THEY SAID IF I COULD NOT PAY THEY WERE GOING TO KEEP MY DOG, which my current vet tells me is an ILLEGAL practice. By the way, I wish I had money left after being overcharged for everything by these people, because a second opinion could have saved my dog's life. Don't make the mistake I made--there is a 24 hour emergency clinic on Broadway, minutes away from this location, and the difference is like night and day.
