We moved to ID from MN with two 12 year old cats, one of which is diabetic. We have seen many vets over the years and none compare to Dr. Kinghorn. He takes the best care of the 12 year olds, and the 2 new kittens we have acquired since moving here, one of whom was hit by a car and now he is healthy and feeling great. The building looks a little old, and you will have to wait for your appointment a little, but neither of those things matter. The wait is well worth it, and understandable, as he takes all the time he needs with you and your pets. He really listens to you and truly cares, we have never had a vet even near his equal. The surgery on our poor little car hit rescue was top notch, he doesn't order unnecessary tests, and prices are so much cheaper then MN prices that we are still amazed every visit. His staff is wonderful, I can't say enough good things about the vet techs there. If you live in south east ID and can reasonably drive to Rigby you will not be disappointed.
