Dr. Whatman is the best vet Ive ever had over the 22 yrs Ive been back in Montreal. I've taken in and taken care of many stray cats in that time and Dr whatman has always been available, punctual, helpful and very kind to both myself and my cat family. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great vet!

I went to them for years. Main vet, Dr. Shannon, fine, but now has Dr. St-Pierre part-time. I brought the latter my sweet cat Henry, only 8 yrs, with cystitis, treatable condition. Kept him two days to unblock and monitor, picked up on a Saturday. The clinic gives out an ER number and used to provide ER service, so assumed I was covered. Henry not very responsive; Dr. St-Pierre casual, sent us home with dietary advice only, NO guidelines to detect problems. Charged $550. Within 2 hrs he went south; learned there was no ER service there or any Valley vet, just #s for two clinics 2 hours away! Feared he would die on the way; at 5 a.m thought of the US and called a vet in upstate NY. She came but he died as we got him on her table. She told me there was NO SIGN HE HAD BEEN GIVEN IV FLUIDS, and he was STILL BLOCKED when I picked him up. St-Pierre's poor treatment killed my pet and I want to warn of my experience, and of trusting there is any ER service in our area.
