Staff were caring but inexperienced. I spent $$$$figuring out what was wrong with my girl and another vet found a $30 solution they tried and did care. I know the transition was hard from Dr Shand and theis group are starting out. Just didn't work out for us and I felt bad for leaving.

This place has deteriorated since Nancy Shand left. One young veterinarian, Sarah D., was very kind to my dogs and I was very pleased with her. However not so with other staff. The front desk staff, one in particular is not very welcoming and can be downright rude. There are often “hidden” costs when the bill is presented and varying tales as to why the add-on was needed. I want UPFRONT HONESTY when I bring my dogs in, and this is often missing. One should be allowed to stay with their pets for something as simple as a shot when the pet is terrified. My latest experience at this establishment reaffirmed for me that it was time to find another vet. It is sad to see what used to be a wonderful organization become a nickel and diming enterprise geared to making money rather than focusing on the care of the animals entrusted to them.

Dr Wolters provides exceptional care and REDUCED the quote for our dog's cancer surgery when she examined her pre-surgery. A followup visit to another vet hospital confirmed the quality and precision of her work. I think it is disappointing that your rating scale does not allow ratings for quality of care. Many folks do not respond well to change, but this vet hospital is on its feet again and worth a revisit!!

We are new to this Vet (our Dog, Charlie). Staff are very friendly. The Vet we saw was Dr. Sarah Darakhshan. She is absolutely lovely! Very kind, friendly and so empathtic to your Pet. Prices were good as well. I wish I gone here sooner!

I have been coming to this vet clinic for many years. Their care, compassion and reasonable costs are the reasons we continue to return for our pets' ongoing care, even though we live almost 50 Kms away. Like they say, "It' worth the drive to Port Hope!"

I have read the reviews and as per my visits to the vet the staff are very kind and understanding.They went above and beyond to help my mom and her cat and I am extremely grateful for everything they have done.i would recommend them to anyone who will listen and I fully intend to take my cat here for his visits and I live in oshawa with lots of vets around.

Terrible experience, 30 min late taking us in for our appointment. Dr didn't even provide a full physical exam in regards to our dogs main issue. Lots of vets around , find another.

Was the best vets around until they have recently sold or changed ownership. Now it's a money grabbing place. I will never go there again, I am not happy at all with their overall service at all.

Dr. Wolters went above and beyond to find out the source of my dogs issues after we had incorrect diagnosis elsewhere. I have no doubt that she saved his life. Her genuine concern for the animals in her care shines through. An all around great experience! I will recommend her to anyone looking for a vet.

Good prices, not worth going anymore after the previous doctor left. One of the new doctors screamed in my wife and I's face and demanded we never return when we asked a question about the pricing, after we had just been through a traumatic experience nearly losing our dog. Very unprofessional.
