Been my clinic for past 8 years since my old vet closed her practice. Am so glad that I found Dixie Road Pet Clinic. Staff and doctors are wonderful. All of them take the time to explain anything one does not understand. One never feels rushed. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a vet.

I came in with my dog who had a uterus infection. I was told that the starting surgery could run me about $5,000.00. As a single mother I cannot afford this so I had to make the choice to put my dog down. She was with my two sons and myself for nine years. As it was a very sad time for me, I appreciated how your staff helped me through this situation. Thank you guys very much!

So I just left another vet down the street because I felt like I was being scammed every time I went in. I came to the Dixie Rd clinic and I am so glad I did! The doctor was fantastic and so was the staff. They were really nice, patient, listened to all my concerns and didn't charge me any hidden fees or make any unnecessary recommendations. I am so happy with this place!

To anyone looking for a vet my wife and I have a dog and 2 cats. We been to multiple clinics and seen many Vets, Techs and staff over the years. None have been as professional from the time you enter the door. Recieve medical help and the folow up afterwards when your pets are home. Dixie Road Pet Clinic staff are caring, top of the class, do an A1 job, and reasonably priced. Bottom line we know your pets health is important and would highly recommend them for you.

This place is really good in every way. I just took my 2 kitties here and they are awesome. There are a couple big things that stood out to me. I wasn't rushed at all. I was in there for an hour (really good sign). Also they don't sneak up charges on you. This is a really big deal at certain vet clinics. They charged me $99 for check up + rabies vaccine. This is phenomenal, trust me. They charge $69 per checkup like most places, but other places sneak up with a $50-70 charge for rabies vac + $16 for reg vac. They did it all for $99! Money isn't an issue, but one of my biggest pet peeves is feeling ripped off, and deceitful prices. Prices don't sneak up on you like other places. It might seem expensive with the original quote, but that's what you'll pay, No extra BS. Oh and Dr. Yamada really knows how to treat cats. He massaged both my cats and they instantly went into a trance. Pretty amazing, if you see him do it in front of you, you should take notes. Great place! No deceit, NO BS!

I have nothing but great things to say about this vet clinic. All of the staff is very welcoming and caring and they took such great care of my fur baby when she was there to be spayed!! The clinic has a nice homey feel to it and I could tell they really cared about my pet and not just the money.

It is very important to me that my dog is cared by a vet that I trust and like. I have been to this vet a couple times and I am very happy with how things go always. Always a pleasent visit, and the other staff are great. My dog likes coming here which makes me more comfortable.

I have been taking my two dogs to this vet clinic for over a year now, and to say the least I have been impressed and disappointed all at the same time. The vet techs are AWESOME !! Julia is my ABSOULUTE FAVOURITE!! In my time there I have dealt with two different doctors, one being Dr. Yamada, who was very caring and fantastic with my dogs. The other Dr. Marshman who was absolutely HORRIBLE. I felt that she did not care about the well being of my dogs or the problems at hand. She never had a secure answer for me and gave me a price one day and then an absolute ridiculous price the next day. I have refused any more service from her and personally request every time I go in to not have her as my doctor. The main reason I have continued giving this clinic my service is because of Julia. It saddens me that through word of mouth I got the news that she NO LONGER works there. I will now be taking my DOGS elsewhere and continue to only deal with her. Where she goes, I go.

I really like this clinic. The staff are super friendly and professional. Dr. Yamada is my new puppy's doctor. I am really impressed with his professionalism. I feel they are priced competitively and only perform tests/procedures that are absolutely necessary compared to past experience with other vets. Clean and well-maintained facility and they are located in a very convenient area. If you're early for your appointment like I tend to be, there's a Tim Horton's 2 minutes away and a large grassy area to walk your dog!

Friend of a friend recommended this vet. It was far from where I live, but good vets are hard to find. Brought my golden in for a much needed teeth cleaning and I had questions about her diet. Didn't try to upsell. Friendly staff. Nice clinic. Clean. Give it a go.

I love this vet clinic. I took my pet here after she had complications with some medication she was on from another clinic. Dr. Yamada was direct and I found him to be very objective. Highly recommend this place.

Brought my rescue Bumpkin to this clinic because I had heard from a friend that the vet was good. I saw Dr. Yanada. He was thorough and very professional. Treated my dog for a UTI. My rescue is people shy, but he took to Dr. Yanada very nicely. I am glad I found this place. I recommend this clinic!

Both of my Cairn terrier "babies" have been cared for at this clinic since puppyhood and my experience with each visit has been wonderful. Both dogs required dental cleaning and work yesterday and were treated with care and respect the whole day. The staff is very loving and make a fuss over the dogs when they arrive for any kind of appointment and this was no exception. The techs Jenn and Julia and Melissa on the desk care for and treat the patients as they would their own pets. Dr. Yamada is a very kind and gentle vet, so obviously loves animals, explains any tests or procedures well and never makes you feel rushed. The staff work well together providing a safe and comforting atmosphere for humans and dogs alike. I thank you all so much for Ceilidh and Hamish's beautiful smiles and as always for the exceptional care. You are the best! 10+++

My experience here was fantastic and I wouldn't have wanted it to go any other way. As well, my little puppy loved it, which is really surprisingly because his first visit at a different vet was horrible and left him scared. The staff here are so respectful and lovable to my pet. I trust them and I definitely recommend this place!!

My Zeppelin absolutely loves this clinic. I have never known an animal to be happy to go to the vet. You can feel the love for animals as soon as you walk through the door. Anytime I have had to bring my Boxer in for medication, health concern it's nothing but a great experience. I really appreciate how they do not push procedures on the pet parents, especially if they're not necessary. I also love how they call you the next day to check up on your fur baby (ies) if they're sick. You can feel the genuine care and concern all of these doctors and techs have for our little babies! Will not go to any other vet!!!!

Staff here is excellent. Facility is clean. Vet was friendly enough, but spent very little time (I felt) focusing on actual problem my dog had and tried to sell me an unecessary procedure (teeth cleaning, dog was brought in to check growth on his leg) "...even though he really doesn't need it..." in his own words, in order to justify over pricing for a simple operation (by his own admission and the vet's that eventually did the work). Left here with a really bad vibe, but glad I listened to my gut and found another vet, just a block away, that really does care about the pets they treat and not the $$$. FYI, I ended up saving a few hundred dollars and found a vet/clinic that focused on the problem, explained every option and scenerio and never tried to sell unecessary work in order to justify over pricing. Although I am happy that everyone seems to be thrilled with this clinic, it was not the right fit for me and my pup.

I took my 2 senior dogs yeaterday for their initial visit. The staff was AMAZING. They spoiled my babies rotten during their lengthy exam. I did not feel pressured into any costly treatments and was very confident in the diagnosis and treatments that were given. Their prices were very reasonable. Dr. Yamada sat on the floor with my dogs to do the exam and did not cause them any of the usual discomfort they experience at the vet. I left feeling great and with money still in my wallet. The nurses were amazing and friendly, they listened to what I had to say and made many observations on their own of things I did not think to mention. My babies loved them. I would, hands down recommend this clinic to EVERY pet parent.

The whole staff at Dixie Road Pet Clinic are fantastic and the care that my cats have gotten couldn't be better. I don't feel rushed at the appointments and Dr. Yamada and his staff take the time to answer any questions that I may have concerning my pets' health. Would recommend highly to anyone without reservation.

It's great to have Dr. Yamada back - he is extremely knowledgeable and I trust his opinion and advice. Everyone at the clinic is caring and gentle with both pets and people. And, if all that wasn't good enough already, the fees are VERY reasonable. I recommend this pet hospital to everyone!

Top Reviews 4 A Reason. I was lucky enough to trust my instincts and take my dog for a 2nd opinion the day she was to be having emergency surgery for a diagnoses which was inaccurate. I made the call earlier morning, I was in a panic as I wasn't sure what I should do about my baby, Melissa ( their reception ) took charge of the call and calmed me down, got all information needed & luckly squeezed me in within hours. I met Dr Swan and discussed my concerns, she wasn't convinced that my baby had pyometra and gave me reasonable options. I decided to do the surgery as I felt confident that my dog would be in the best hands, Dr Swan made me feel confident that she would be ok. Even though she didn't end up having pyometra she still would of needed the surgery at some point, because the surgery was less complicated, the bill was reduced over half, which SHOWS the staff here are HONEST, I will return with my other two dogs and recommend to every pet owner I know. Thank you all so much

I love this vet clinic. You can always trust Dr. Yamada to give you an honest assessment on your pet's condition. He is also not afraid to consult with other doctor's if there is something he is not sure of in a rare case. My dog Zoey the Puggle loves the staff at Dixie Road Pet Clinic. She pulls to the road and can't wait to get inside to say ‘hi’ to everyone. The staff is friendly, considerate and accommodating.

Dr. Yamada is the most well informed vet I have ever met. He is extremely knowledgeable and offers me detailed information and advice for my dog. He is kind and gentle with my dog and most of all I feel that I can trust him to offer the best advice for my dog. I am going to follow him wherever he goes until he retires! :)

After being a resident in Brampton for many years and having visited numerous vets, I can finally say I have found a complete care facility for my chocolate lab, Cricket. I trust Dr. Yamada completely with her care, knowing he provides excellent cost effective service proven my two major surgeries; one for a growth removal and the other for an abscessed tooth. You will not regret your visit to this superb health care team.

Visited this clinic for the first time and very impressed by the friendly staff and clean and well appointed place. The vet Dr. Yamada was very good with my cat and he and Steph the technician gave me much helpful advice. They worked out a weight reduction for my overweight cat and I can take her back for a free assessment in a couple of months to see how she is doing. I feel very comfortable taking my cat there and think their fees are good value too.

I brought my son ( shipoo) after he was vomiting and having other issues. Upon arrival I was very upset and the staff there made me feel at ease and gave me comfort knowing he was in great hands. They followed up with him and continue to prove how compassionate they're when it comes to quality care. This is my third clinic I switch too and I think I have found the perfect fit;) Thanks Dixie clinic!

We have been with Dr. Yamada for over 15 years and have always had excellent service. He and his staff do not rush thru the exams and take time to address any concerns we may have. He also offers different approaches to health issues instead of rushing into expensive options such as surgery, etc. I would highly recommend this clinic.

Our pets have been with Dr. Yamada since 2000. They have been with me and my little fury guys through many, many unforeseen circumstances. Dr. Yamada and the staff took good care of my little Tazman when he got very ill they were very caring, supportive& understanding even after Tazman passed away. When my other little guy Sparky got very ill, Dr, Yamada and his staff took good care of him and is still taking good care of Sparky, Rocky, Cujo and Apollo today. All my little guys’ thank you and we all trust Dr.Yamada’s past and present staff we would not go anywhere else. Thank you Guys!!!

The staff at the Dixie Road Pet Clinic were wonderful! I brought my recently-adopted rescue dog here and they took care of everything she needs to get a new start on life. They explained all my options, gave me a schedule for vaccine boosters, and treated my dog like a princess. It's obvious they care a great deal about what they do, and how they do it!!

Brought my dog here yesterday. For the first time in a while, found a vet who spoke to me like I was a person! The staff all were really nice and actually all seemed happy to see me and my dog! She got plenty of treats and attention while she was there. They took the time to explain all my options, and even though I had to turn some down due to my budget, I never was made to feel guilty. I even got an on-the-spot tour of the back and the retail boutique. I'm definitely a new loyal client of this clinic and I'd recommend it to everybody!

Very happy to have Dr. Yamada back and also to see familiar faces like Dr. Goudas and Daniela. The Dixie Road Pet Clinic Grand Opening was spectacular. It was exciting to be able to explore behind the scenes and meet fellow pet owners! The hospital is gorgeous! Dr. Yamada, his team and volunteers did an incredible job with the renovations!
