I had been bringing my cat since 2014 my first impression was correct this clinic is all about the money, if they sense you are not going to spend more than $300.00 a visit,they will do as little as possible for you. No follow up,was done by this office to see how my cat was doing. My cat was not diagnosed correctly, she had food poisoning and was having difficulty breathing. They sent me off with a script, never even listened to my cat's lungs. It was the weekend and I was left to watch my cat suffer. I had no idea recovery for respiratory problems in cats is fatal especially, due to botulism till, it was to late. They never followed up after her visit or even acknowledged her death. The average patient was paying over $300.00 as I checked out I noticed. They are more interested in paying for there fancy building than the welfare of your pet. I would never trust them with another pet.

I have had animals all my life and have known a lot of veterinarian's. I have never met a more caring Vet and his whole staff then the employees of Spring Hill Animal Clinic. To make a long story short, I had a very small pom, she had a problem where her first two vertebras in her neck didn't fuse. Dr. David consulted with a surgeon but the surgeon didn't think she could make it through the operation. Since she was so small he didn't have a small enough neck brace for her so Dr. David made a neck brace just for her, in hopes that her vertebras would fuse together. We made weekly visits, so he could check on her progress, at no charge.(un-heard of) She had her good days and bad days. Finally the brace came off and it seemed that her vertebras did fuse together but it was weak. Sadly my Lil Bit died a week after her last visit to the vet. I knew that this condition could cause the dog to become paralyzed and then death. Dr. David went beyond the call of duty to help my Lil Bit.

Although I have already rated Drs. Dave & Stacy an addendum is needed. I took my 11 month old lab Oliver for pre op bloods and an exam prior to being neutered next week. With other vets in Spring Hill, to get a blood test my dogs would always have a third of one or both front paws shaven or a large area on their neck was shaven to obtain blood. Brian the vet tech was excellent and took Olivers blood without shaving anything! Also in the past with other vets, pre op bloods consisted of a very limited number of tests unless I requested otherwise. Dr. Dave automatically did a complete work up which made me very happy and I was notified of Olivers results. If you truly care about the health and well being of your pet, Spring Hill Animal Clinic is the place to go.

I brought our golden retriever Brandy to see Dr. Stacy and our yellow lab Oliver to see Dr. Dave. The staff was very friendly and kind to both of our canine kids. The veterinarians were outstanding. Very good with both Oliver and Brandy. They listened to what I thought was important and performed thorough exams. I highly recommend both Dr. Stacy and Dr. Dave.

I have been bringing my dog to this clinic for 8 years and have always been very happy with the care, compassion, knowledge and professionalism of both the husband and wife veterinarians and their staff. Our vet has taken the time to get to know our dog and his specific health issues and provides treatment and advice appropriate for our dog and our budget. He, along with his staff, have always taken the time to fully answer my questions and address my concerns and worries when my dog is ill or needs surgery. Never have I felt that any tests or procedures were done unnecessarily. The front desk staff is friendly and organized and always greet clients (4-legged and 2-legged) warmly and by name when arriving at the clinic. Phone calls to the vet are returned in a very timely manner and prescription refills are handled promptly. I only wish I could find a doctor for myself that is this good!

I had called this clinic because I had an emergency with my dog. Our regular vet was out fishing and didn't have a replacement. I was told that because I was not a client that it would be 4 days before I could get in. I identified myself as a medical professional and that I knew there was a serious problem with my dog and she needed help ASAP. The front desk person then asked the vets who also said no, I'd have to wait. Luckily I found a vet to see her and she had an I.V. inserted immediately. How caring and compassionate could these vets be for refusing a dog in need!

I've been a client here for years. It's a husband/wife owned practice. Both Drs. Wempe are outstanding practioners and kind, compassionate people. Myself and my many dogs and cats have always been treated with respect and compassion; plus the rates are very reasonable and never have I ever felt a treatment or service or product was recommended to inflate my invoice. I drive over an hour to bring my large animal family to this clinic because they are well worth our time.
